Cheap. Zipper only lasted 4 months and completely broke into pieces. My child has sensory issues and never plays outdoors. This coat was literally worn to and from school and put in public. Nothing rough. Complete waste of money. Arctix has always been good quality and we have bought several winter sets over the years, but thus was the worst.

My son is HARD on coats, but this one seems so much more durable than the last few he has had. Very warm, it looks great… I appreciate the neon without it being solid green - makes him easy to spot! He’s 140 and 5’0

The coat is out together very well. It’s lightweight but not thin. It keeps the tot nice and warm. Nice fit. There is enough room to later winter clothes comfortably under the coat. Easy to keep clean. I would purchase again.

Overall I have been very happy with the coat. It washes well and was great for every day wear. As we got through the winter the hem and sleeves began to fray and around early March the zipper broke. I was hoping to get at least two seasons out of this jacket. I would recommend if you are looking for something to only last one winter (kids grow) but you may want to look elsewhere if you want it to last more than a year.

Purchased for my toddler and the size is perfect. He is 3yo, 3’6” and 37lbs and I got him 4T. It keeps his dry and warm in all of our snow activities. It’s great quality, perfect thickness so he can stay warm and cozy but also function and have fun. A must buy for snow play!

This is the 3rd coat I bought from this company. The first one came with a broken button but wasn't a big deal but then zipper broke and we couldn't zip the coat anymore. I ended up buying a whole new coat. The second coat kept ripping inside the arms at the seams, but I sewed it and it held up. So, I bought the next size up because he grew.... the same thing keeps happening except now its also on the outside of the coat. This coat isn't cheap and it honestly felt pretty well made when we bought the first one. I'm not even going to pass the smaller coat down to my 2nd son. I'm throwing them both out. What a waste of money!!

My son has a slender but long build. It fits him very well. True to size. He wears an 8 in clothes so I got him a small (8). Great fit. Check the size chart because it IS different then a Walmart or Target size Small. We went snowboarding in it and he stayed warm and dry. The material is very waterproof. We got the white camo print and he loves it. Its a unique print and color scheme so not likely to get mixed up with other kids at school! We bought the matching bibs and LOVE those. Not only does it have the fleece bib, it has an adjustable waist for my long and lean 8 year old!. His little sister is not as lean and we tried these on her. The fit wasn't as good but we could make it work. If you have a shorter child for their size or a stockier child I would recommend trying before you buy, or get the husky size as those worked for my Daughter.Update: also Got in a Medium 10/12 (son is wearing a 10 shirt 12 pants for length) for the following year, and he wants it in a large now.... Same pattern and all.... We spend hours snowboarding in Wisconsin each week, which means his butt is sitting in the snow at the beginning of each run and its never cold or wet, even after 8 hours!

Nice jacket, not very insulated ... That's misleading... Main reason I got IT. Upset that I spent $ on this and can't return it because my son really needs it. He ripped his other jacket. Going to need a heavy sweater :(
