I put this in my 1998 Malibu Response LX. It fit perfectly and works great.

I put this starter on a 1995 Merc 502 Mag. The original starter was still working but turned over slow and I had to bump the key a couple times to get the solenoid to engage. This one is strong, turns the engine over quickly and engages every time. Even though the old on would start the engine this new one was worth every penny to be confident that the engine will start every time. I did a lot of research on manufacturers before choosing Arco too, so I am confident that this one was built well and will last a long time.
