We fish in the Susquehanna all the time and when the sun starts going down, the top water baits are king. I like this one and the Choppa from Berkly, they're both pretty awesome and catch lots of fish.

I have always been a fan of the jitterbugs. I catch fish on them when conditions would say top water lures won't work. They just seem to work. And the fish normally hit them hard. Hold on to your rod. Get different sizes and different colors. Start with black. Only thing I do to mine is I take the hooks off and put on a split ring on between the holder and the hook so the hook can move more freely.

I’m a huge fan of these. Love the action. I go back and forth between this guy and the whopper plopper but if there are any weeds in the water they get trapped in the whopper plopper’s prop. The jitterbug gets a bit weedy but it’s easy to pull off. Pound for pound I’ve caught more small mouth bass on this than 90% of the other plastics in my tackle bag.The quality of these newer ones is okay. They don’t make them like they used to though. Still 5 stars!

Great lure for bass

This thing is a bass killer, but I am going it 4 stars rather than 5 because the I have never used a lure that got its hooks in the swivel more frequently. It seemed like the forward most trihook got itself tangled in the swivel (tried two differnt sized swivels to see if that made any sort of difference and it didn't) every couple casts all day. Still, barring that problem, this should be in every bass fishermans box.

このルアーで今年はもうナマズを10本以上あげました。わずか、2週間で。うるさいノイジー系ルアーは沢山ありますが、控えめで軽やかなカップ音が、岸際のナマズには効果絶大です。必ず一つ持っていた方が良いと思います。

フックの装着がアイに直接で(スプリットリングを使ってない) フックの交換が簡単にできない仕様です。フロントのアイもアルミ板に心細くかしめてあるので、シーバスにも使う予定なので、すべてのアイを外してアロンアルファで補強、スプリットリング仕様に改造しました。泳ぎは、トップをポコポコいいながら、とても可愛く、トリッキーで、リトリーブがとても楽しいです。軽さと、アルミのブレードのため 飛距離は大したことありません。根ががりは しそうに無いので 長い付き合いになるでしょう。トップでの一発が 待ち遠しいです。
