Took my two year old ice skating, no skates small enough. I wanted something adjustable like those roller skates we had in the 90s and boom here they are for ice. Perfect and she can wear them for awhile

Cheaply made. The stripes doesn't hold in place for nothing. I've tried all the knots and laces I know and it simply doesn't hold. Not recommended.

Not the sturdiest things in the world but what can you really expect? Work great for teaching how to get around on the ice. Iâd say itâs pretty obvious these arenât supposed to be real ice skates. A lot of people complaining that the blades didnât come sharpened. If you take time to read the listing the manufacture explains that.

Super cheap product, obviously of mass manufacturer in China or someplace like China. The purveyors of these skates could (and should) do a few things to make sure that they are up to the standards of customers in a 1st world country. For one, the holes where the straps need to be inserted are blocked, sealed up with plastic from some kind of manufacturing error. It looks like they came out of a hot mold and the hole melted shut. I had to heat up a screwdriver with a plumbing torch to punch out the holes. The buckles that clamp down on the straps donât work well and should be better. The nylon straps are about 4x too long for a childâs feet. They will have to be cut. If you donât realize this before you get to the ice, youâll wind up trying to cool up the slack and tie it off and tuck it in a sock or something, and thatâs dangerous. Also, when you do cut them youâll need to cauterize the cut with a flame because this is the kind of nylon that will immediately unspool into a million loose slippery threads. After about 1/2 hour, we lost the wing nut that holds the to and the heel of the slate together. Spent a long time searching for it and never found it in a busy ice rink. The only positive was the fact that my 2 year old was able to balance and slide around in the ice enough to feel like she was skating, and she had fun.

Easy on easy off but not as pictured. The toe strap works great but the strap higher up does not go through the skate as shown. Only one side of each skate had a slot for the strap. We had to just wrap the strap in the middle of the skate so the blades would not cut it. It fell off several times. However when it was staying on it worked great. the 4 and 1/2 yr old was on his own within 10 minutes.

My two year old daughter LOVED her first skating experience, but obviously didn't last too long... I'm glad we went with this cost-efficient option to give her the fun experience. They fit perfectly over her Sorrel snow boots and the double blades were perfect for her to essentially walk on the ice and feel confident that she was just like daddy. We'll definitely use these this season and probably next before putting her in real skates.

Item is defective. Missing hole for one of straps to go in to. Unable to use back strap to keep on boot or shoe. Absolutely junk ordered item because it offered two days shipping it wouldnât come in time for my son to go to his skate party . No he can not go. He is so broken harted.

These are so great for my 3 year old! We had him on traditional single bladed skates and he could barely stand up on the ice. With these he was stable on the two blades and comfortable wearing his own boots. The straps aren't the greatest I had to break out my fancy knots to keep them from slipping sideways off his feet. But great for the price!

I bought this despite mediocre reviews. Reviews are correct in that the plastic lock on the strap is not great. Our biggest problem is that it's hard to get the straps tight enough to keep the boot well-secured to the skate. But once we learned to take extra care to do this, it worked well enough and was certainly worth the very inexpensive price. I have yet to try the skate lace trick that another reviewer tried, but if the adjustable lock stops working, I imagine skate laces will work nicely. Overall, I'm happy because it keeps my 2-year old son on the ice happily for quite a long time.
