Aquor Water Systems Logo
From the Pacific Northwest

At Aquor, our mission is to design and manufacture the world's most innovative and user-friendly water connections. With 15+ years of marine industry experience, our hydrants are reliable, providing leak-free connections on land and sea.

For a more flexible Aquor installation, replace the standard straight hydrant inlet.

Aquor hydrants come standard with a straight 1/2" NPT inlet, the most common thread type. To make your Aquor installation even easier, we offer straight and elbow inlets in a variety of 3/4" NPT, 1/2" NPT, 1/2" PEX Expansion, and 1/2" PEX Crimp styles made of precision-case stainless steel.

Our elbow inlets shorten overall hydrant length by 1/2" and can be positioned in any direction due to the unique O-ring seal. Tighten fully, then back off to desired placement (up to 360°, 1 rotation).

  • Made for Aquor hydrants
  • Precision-cast 316L stainless steel, includes stainless steel valve reset spring
  • Positionable in any direction, elbows shorten overall hydrant length by 1/2"
  • Compatible with all Aquor hydrants except ground hydrants
  • NPT, PEX Expansion, and PEX Crimp styles available in straight or elbow

Different types of Aquor inlets

Hand tightened 3/4" NPT Inlet

NPT Inlets

NPT is the most common thread type and can be connected to any type of plumbing. Aquor offers a 3/4" NPT inlet and a 1/2" NPT Elbow inlet. The elbow inlet can be positioned in any direction and shortens the overall install length by 1/2".

Installing PEX Expansion inlet, expanding tubing

1/2" PEX Expansion Inlets

PEX Expansion inlets connect to PEX-A plumbing in seconds. Compatible with ProPEX and F1960 cold expansion systems, typically used by professionals. Aquor offers a 1/2" PEX Expansion inlet and a 1/2" PEX Expansion Elbow inlet. The elbow inlet can be positioned in any direction and shortens the overall install length by 1/2".

PEX Crimp inlet being installed with a crimp ring

1/2" PEX Crimp Inlets

PEX Crimp inlets connect to any plumbing type and are DIY friendly. Compatible with PEX clamp and crimp ring systems. Aquor offers a 1/2" PEX Crimp inlet and a 1/2" PEX Crimp Elbow inlet. The elbow inlet can be positioned in any direction and shortens the overall install length by 1/2".

Aquor 1/2" PEX Expansion inlet and 1/2" PEX Expansion Elbow inlet

Straight or Elbow inlet?

Elbow inlet main advantages include

  1. Shortening hydrants overall length by 1/2"
  2. Allowing you to connect to the supply line in any direction

How to connect a new inlet

PEX Crimp inlet connected to Aquor hydrant

Step 1

Remove existing inlet by unscrewing counterclockwise. Ensure the O-ring on the hydrant body is properly seated.

Note: DO NOT use Teflon tape on hydrant body threads. This may cause leaks. Only use Teflon tape on plumbing connection (fitting) threads.

Connecting PEX Crimp to PEX tubing

Step 2

Hand tighten new inlet on hydrant body by threading clockwise. For elbow inlets, rotate counterclockwise until it's positioned in the correct direction for installation. The O-ring will keep a watertight seal up to 360° from full lock, up to 250 PSI.

Step 3

Check for leaks and test the hydrant operation.

For PEX joints, wait 10 minutes for it to shrink down and set before turning on the water.

If possible, use an expansion loop of PEX for easy plumbing maintenance down the road.

Shortens the overall length of the hydrant, so if your depth is just right with the straight npt, that comes stock. You will need to go longer.

This is perfect for a pex to copper connection if you are in a small space and you would rather not solder.

Spent quite a few minutes trying to figure out how to get this right-angle adapter twisted to the correct angle, allowing us to angle the water supply DOWN instead of up and to the side. Then, noticed the double O-rings that would keep the water out *without* having to tighten the entire adapter down completely. The instructions could definitely be clearer on that point. We simply unscrewed the adapter by around 1/2 turn to get it pointed down, fitted it onto the water supply and NO LEAKS! Success!

Picked this up to hook up my house hydrant to a pex a line. Being only 1/2" I wanted to ensure fittings weren't restricting any flow to my garden hose. This fitting did the job. Easy to install, with a hefty weight and quality build and materials. A great addition to your Aquor system, with most pros favouring expansion pex over crimp.

This saved me, I have a small cabinet with very little room to work, this allowed me to get my pex fed through the side of the cabinet and allowed a clean run to my services.

This product should not be sold in Canada. Impossible to find the size of 1/2 in. I.D. here in Canada not even at Home Depot, Lowes, Rona etc....

This works great on the Aquos hydrant faucet. The threading is a bit large/coarse so use a tube of sealant. The spring lock is compatible with the straight-through fitting that comes with faucet.

Great product. Saves space in the wall, and does not need to be tightened all the way down, which gives you flexibility on angle of installation.
