Without step markers the edges of steps, Baja shelves, and tanning ledges are difficult to identify beneath the water’s surface. This can ultimately create a fall or drowning hazard. The second role is more cosmetic. Step markers add a pop of personality to your pool. By choosing dolphins, turtles, starfish, or any other variety of our markers you can add a bit of character while making your pool safer for all. Our step markers are made of high-quality porcelain that is glazed and kiln fired up to 1800 degrees to preserve the intense color and ensure that our step markers will never fade or peel.

These just arrived and the head of one is chipped and the fin/leg of another is chipped. Super cute if they weren't.Returning Very disappointed.

These are exactly as pictured. Delivered sooner than expected. Can’t wait for the pool builder to install when finish coat goes into our new pool build. They are super cute and I’m very excited about putting them on the swim over ledge. I’ll try to remember to add pic when they’re installed.Edit Jan ‘24: liked these so much I just ordered 2 more sets to use as step markers.UPDATE: Pool is finished and these are amazing accents. I’ve added a couple of pics. They may be a bit difficult to see cause my poolbottom is med dark. Used them on stairs as step markers and used them on the swim out ledge as an accent. They are unique and definitely add a bit of class! Or as the pool installers said, “They are the perfect pop!” BUT THEM, DONT HESITATE!
