They do the job - they filter out solids and the activated charcoal catches other things and gases that are in the water. It's easy to replace. Just a side note, you need not replace this filter element all the time - you can take it out and rinse it under the faucet and put it back in for a while longer. Doing so will also keep some of the fish tank's bacterial 'life' in place, and your fish need that.

They arrived in a timely manner. Price was good. Driver left a lot to be desired. He ran over stones in the sidewalk. No reason he should’ve done that there’s plenty of driveway, but they just roll in with their headphones on and nobody cares.

I mean, they fit inside the housing and they filter the water... Not much else to say. They do what they're supposed to.

These work great and they were easy to assemble. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I don’t like how the top part doesn’t seal shut, it should snap closed but it doesn’t, other then that it works.As you can see in the picture it doesn’t snap closed.

I've had a query items for 40 years and these are the best filters you can find for the best price! There's no wonder of which side goes towards the inside of the aquarium is easily shown when you're placing the filter into the tank. The pricing is better than going to any pet shop. I can recommend this product as it is not only great quality but great pricing.

Our new tank required these filters, and we were tired of “waiting for them to come in” at our local Pet Store, and since there are over 30 Guppies in this tank, changing the filters often, seem to be in store.I am the proud owner of five (5) 35 - 40 year old goldfish.I have a Beta fishAnd all the Guppies+ one (1) Algae eater.
