The evaporated manufacturing process is familiar to most people as table salt or food grade salt. Aqua salt is packaged solely for use in swimming pools and spas with chlorine generators and is not intended for human consumption. Aqua salt should be distributed over the greatest water surface area possible to result in the fastest dissolve rate. Follow the Chlorine Generator Manufacturer guidelines for quantity and frequency of adding salt. Avoid piling the salt on the pool surface and brush as necessary until fully dissolved. 40 pound bag size.

This salt dissolved so quickly and completely. Cost more than salt at the pool supply store but so worth it. Dissolves almost immediately. A grest product

I have tried a lot of different salts for my pool this one is by far the best was using 3 to 6 bags a season in Ohio used 1 and a half last year bought another one this year

I would have given it 5 stars but 2 of the 20 bags had holes in them. Other than that the salt was easy to handle and dissolved quickly in my pool. This was the first time I had ever added salt since we are converting it to a salt water pool.
