This is NOT aquarium background. This is some crap material the seller is pushing off as aquarium background. This stuff does NOT cut straight, it's completely jagged cuts. Avoid like the plague, seller should be ashamed.

So easy to apply. Measure the back of your tank, cut, and apply. Easy. Use a spray bottle with a drop of dish detergent. Then use a piece of cardboard to smooth it out and remove the bubbles.

This product is great but it is a little tricky to get it onto the aquarium glass but once it is on it stays on and extremely tight if you use water on both the aquarium glass and the vinyl itself after peeling off the protective layer.This product has a matte backing but glossy finish and leaves zero fingerprints when handled and after installation but might show up during initial handling.I believe the easiest way to buy this is to get the measurements as closest to the aquarium size as possible in length as the width seems to always be longer than needed and the length is tough to cut straight without a straightedge.When cutting this product makes sure to use a brand new blade on a utility knife. You can cut the length with scissors when off the tank but you can use a utility knife when the vinyl is on the aquarium just don't cut to the side where the caulking adhesive meets the glass on the shallow sides or left to right sides (cut front and back).This vinyl is super sticky when wet and can be adjusted accordingly. Some people also use one drop of dish soap to help maneuver the vinyl with easier manipulation of the product (sliding the product over the glass). I had minor issues when using only water and do not know if the dish soap would leave any streaking after application.On smaller tanks it is easy to do yourself but with larger tanks (55 gallons or more) I suggest getting one person to help you. Using a squeegee on larger tanks is very much advised and will make your life a lot simpler but also make sure to have a plastic card on hand just in case. You really do not need a squeegee for smaller tanks but it does make the job quicker.This product is of very high quality that beats any instore product I have used in the past. This is a great backing with excellent adhesion without the use of adhesives.I would highly recommend this product for aquarium use.

My fish was not pleased with this product nor was I. We both knew the application would not be successful upon unrolling the film. The bubbles were hard to remove and the edges refused to stick to the tank. I told the fish he could have made a higher quality product and he doesn’t even have hands. I’m disappointed I wasted money on this.Needless to say, we were both unimpressed and disappointed. More so him than me.

I won't lie, it was really a pain in the @$$ to put in correctly, but I think I did alright! It looks awesome. It was so clingy I didn't even need to spray with water. Really cheap too!

Hid the unsightly cords behind the aquarium and now the fish stand out and not the wall. Make sure to take measurements, but those can depend on whether you want it to go all the way up, across, around... Anyway, good stuff. And yes, use a plastic card to run the bubbles out.

It's easy to install, seems to stick great & looks beautiful. Fairly thick & no weird smell. It really makes the aquarium look fantastic. I'll definitely buy it again. Oh, and super price!
