The dirt is what I needed to repot my water lilies. The only bad thing is in the packaging. WHY WOULD YOU PACK 40 lbs of potting soil, with my rice crackers?????? Amazon makes it impossible to express this issue

I am 67 years old and have been in the aquarium hobby most of my life. This aquarium gravel is the best gravel I have ever seen. I must have received one of the best shade variation that one can get, it looks excellent. The uniformity of the gravel is a perfect size. I am using 20lbs. in a 10 gallon rectangular tank and this is the perfect amount for planting some plants. I washed it thoroughly and after a few days running in the filter everything is crystal clear. In contrast the sand I used for my other aquarium was the most filthy product I have ever seen.

There were more expensive gravels I liked better but didn’t want to spend significantly more. This was adequate and looks nice. I ordered x3 20 pound bags for my 55 gallon aquarium. Those three bags produced about a 2 inch layer in the aquarium. You will need to rinse this gravel for a while to get it really clean though.

Comes pre washed, don’t forget to rinse. Covers the tank well, cleaning with syphon is easy to do and color is a mixture or sand and smaller size. Recommend this product, not cheap is worth the investment.

I found this gravel pretty clean, only minor debris in the first rinse, gave it three quick rinses and it was good to go. Picture of bucket shows second rinse. Also included picture of gravel in my aquarium. Very pleased with product and its natural beauty!

This is nice and clean aquarium gravel and I love the natural colour of it. Nice to be able to order in a larger sized bag. We used 3 bags for a 72 gallon tank, we may need one more but overall good value for money. It’s definitely on the finer side.

This is very good quality gravel, I love the color and texture. It looks very pretty. It looks better wet, the colors really pop through. The only thing is that you definitely need to give it a rinse before using it to get rid of any powdery residue.

This gravel is beautiful in my tank, the colours are so natural with the different shades. The rock is on the smaller side and it looks great. The gravel was well washed but i did wash it before putting it in my tank. It did have a smell to it nothing chemical, more natural like a ocean for some reason. Probably how they clean it. I am going to do a live planted tank, So I will come back and update once finished.100% recommend if you are looking for a natural looking set up. Looks great with sand and drift wood.
