I have lung disease and am on oxygen. I need more oxygen than portable tanks can provide and so must use the full size tanks. Since I still work full time and do my own shopping, I needed to carry several extra tanks in the back of my small SUV. Before, the tanks would roll around and bang against each other when driving. These foam tank holders worked perfectly to solve the problem! I use two of them because the tanks are long. I secure them with tight, wide bungee straps to keep them from sliding off the foam blocks. I then use another bungee cord attached to the two toddler seat rings on the back of the rear seat wrapped around the strap bungee cords to further secure the oxygen tanks. It only takes seconds to replace an empty tank. I’ve been using these foam tank holders for well over a year and they still look new, and no cracks or splits! Highly recommended for those who need oxygen to breathe on land as well as under water!

Used this to take the tanks (80's) back and forth from the dive shop and works perfectly. I dropped one the of the tanks a little as I was setting it in and the foam just took it like it was nothing.

The foam is very light weight, and it's hard to see in the picture, but it's only 2" thick.So in my rocking boat, they fall in the direction of tank.If the foam was thicker by a factor of 2, they the might stay in, but even then some kind of securing strap over the top seems like it would be needed.If they were $5 a set, the price would be more appropriate, but the product would still be inadequate for the job.So over priced, poor quality, poor design.Two thumbs down.

I found myself looking for a nice way to prevent our SCUBA tanks from rolling around the bed of the truck, and I didn't want to have to build a wooden rack to do it. I found these and decided to give them a shot. The foam is dense and fits the tanks well. They serve the purpose of keeping the tanks still. Recommended!

Very simple, lightweight and works like a champ! Keeps my tanks stable in several configurations. I lay the tanks on the foam blocks in the car and use them to keep the tanks from rattling against the bed of my pickup when I haul them upright and strapped in. I've been using these for a couple of months on a regular basis and they seem to be holding up fine.
