  • The Manta Ray kayak paddle is for High-angle paddlers looking for maximum horsepower and control. The Manta Ray Hybrid offers a full carbon fiber shaft with fiberglass reinforced blade.
  • The refined, stronger Manta Ray blade provides a smoother forward stroke with less chances for flutter, stiffer feel, and quieter entry and exit to preserve energy for longer trips. 102.5 sq. inch “oversized” blade design provides better horsepower and control, most commonly associated with high-angle forward strokes and is the ideal size for boat maneuverability.
  • The 100% carbon fiber shaft is the lightest yet strongest material option available today. Paddling with a light and strong shaft is less fatiguing and more enjoyable on long trips. The shaft is ovalized where the hands go for more comfort and control while limiting blisters. The upgraded Fiberglass and Nylon blade material is stronger and thicker for strength and durability.
  • The patented Posi-Lok ferrule is the gold-standard in paddle sports today. It is known for its secure fit, simplicity, and longevity. Paddlers enjoy the quick, intuitive ability to adjust the blade offset in 15-degree increments depending on wind and other paddling conditions.
  • Aqua Bound paddles are proudly hand built in Osceola, Wisconsin, USA for those who enjoy lake, river and kayaking, packrafting, racing, and kayak fishing. SPECS: Blade Size: 7.5 x 18 in. (19 x 46 cm), Blade Surface Area: (102.5 sq. in.), Weight: 31 oz. (879 g).

you can't go wrong with AQUABOUND.This will cost you about $150.00 or more and the only thing better than this so the same paddle but FULLY CARBON and this will cost you over $200.00So depending on your budget and your paddling style, this could be right for you.I believe the newer version is RED colored rather than white.

I ordered this paddle after leaving my old one on the dock after crab fishing one day. My old one was almost as expensive as this one, bought on Amazon and was advertised as carbon fiber. This paddle is half the weight and twice as rigid swings like a feather. Can't wait to get on the water, I've got a Wilderness Systems Radar 135, graph, batteries and motor plus my 240# @$$ I know this thing will have no problem moving it.

Used:2 months. 230 cm.Easier to swing than aluminum 50 dollar paddle it replaced. IF you catch it on sale for under 150 dollars I think it qualifies as a good buy.

This is a nice lightweight paddle perfect for up to 8 hours of paddling. A negative thing is that the shaft was a bit rough like it needed to be sand or smooth out in some way.

A nice light paddle with good power. The posi loc connector is nice allowing extra feathering options with out the looseness of the button type connector. The paddle is smoother then the aluminum and fiberglass models I tried. The shaft is somewhat ridged and will scratch a plastic kayak but it feels ok in the hands. I really like this paddle.
