I was not very pleased with these containers. They would not stay snapped shut. I had to use tape to keep them closed and that did not look very professional to me.

I ordered these for my family to take home dessert from our Thanksgiving meal. The containers were very thin and flimsy. When we placed a slice of cake inside the lid would not snap closed. The dessert was not touching the lid so the container was not over packed. The tabs lined up but did not stayed closed. We had to wrap the container in foil. Really disappointed in this item.

I ordered these for cookies to give to friends. They are the right size and the price was right. I wish there were a biodegradable option instead of plastic.

If your goal usage for this product is to hand these out to people, then this product will perform perfectly for your situation. It is true that this product is very thin and flimsy, difficult to close sometimes, cheaply made. However, for the price that you get for each disposable clamshell container is amazing. I'm not using these for personal use to be re-used. These are designed for one time take-home use, so I thought they were perfect given the price. Obviously there are other better designed products, but at what cost are you willing to pay? I would buy these again if the price remains the same.
