The handle is a little cheaply made, just a hollow plastic tube which is why I docked them the 1 star but otherwise the pump works great and the many attachments make it easy to clean things like sand and gravel in your aquarium. The pump could be a little more powerful but it will pick up everything except the heaviest debris. The pump is very durable but I feel like the handle will break over time. It is very easy to use and the multiple break aways ensure that you wont ruin the cord.

This wand, is a little complicated to set up but offers several different end attachments. It's nice to have options - you can use this to cycle the entire tank's water through the filter, to pump the water out or just to clean. We really just wanted the cleaning function. You still really have to use the brush end and scrub the glass of the tank.....So I'm not sure if it's a whole lot easier than dumping the tank, cleaning and refilling....

I've been wanting one of these vacuum-style aquarium cleaners to help keep up with our 125-gallon tank. It has a single goldfish in it but he's a messy housemate.Assembly was easy enough - take a little time to straighten the cord out at the end so it doesn't try to double back on itself inside the handle as you pass it through.Once up and running, I was able to clear the algae and fish waste quickly. I tried using the filtering function where the water is returned to the tank, but that wasn't terribly effective in the bare-bottom tank. I switched over to the algae scraper attachment with the host running to a bucket and that did the trick.I like the adjustable handle and the multiple attachments and the pump is pretty strong.My main concern is that the handle feels a bit flimsy. Care should definitely be taken so the plastic doesn't snap. A thicker handle or maybe a stainless steel one would elevate this product to a five-star review.

This tank cleaner was an improvement from my previous tank cleaner. It does a great job of being locking securely. and the water expeller is also on the bottom of the vacuum instead of the top. This design greatly minimizes the chance of water spillage. The issue is that it didn't didn't come with the AC adapter and there was no way to plug up the device. I was forced to cannibalize the part from previous vacuum. Had I not had my old tank cleaner, I wouldn't have been able to use this tank cleaner at all.

Really like it for my 55 gallon tank. Unfortunately, it is too large and does not work in the small pre tank. There is no suction. as a result, I will have to buy another vacuum for the small tank. I believe a slightly smaller one would have sufficed for both.
