Step 1: Connect the cable.
Step 2: Charge the solar panel for 6-8 hours under the sunshine.
Step 3: Before use the remote, manual push on the lamp switch and keep it on.
Step 4: Make sure the solar panel is completely in the dark and test if work well. (Use the remote to change mode)

Note: Only MODE 4 & AUTO for Daytime use.
- Night Mode: MODE 1/2/3 only works at night (Light works when the solar panel is covered or in darkness).
- Daytime Avaible: MODE 4/AUTO works all day (Light works no matter day or night).
- If the Solar Gazebo Light have been connected to the solar panel, MODE 1 & 2 & 3 will only works at night, only MODE 4 & AUTO for Daytime use.
- If the solar pendant light and the solar panel are disconnected, MODE 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & AUTO will work anytime.
Before Use the Remote, Manual Turn On the Lamp Switch and Keep it On
Note: Before use the remote, please press the "ON" button on the solar light to turn on the light.

The solar barn light and and solar panel are separated, and the waterproof wire length is 16.5 feet.

I installed this in a small barn to illuminate it in the evening while I feed. The lights are really decent in Mode 3 which allows you to just turn it off and on. The motion detection modes make the lights REALLY bright for up to 45 minutes. We recently had a lot of snow and ice and the lights are still working even though the solar panel is covered in snow. It has a very small battery and I'm not sure it's replaceable or how long it will really last but so far they are great!

I've seen many people praising this light, some with pictures of the light in use outdoors, but it appears these are all in a protected environment. I put one of these on the outside of my shed door and it lasted about 3 weeks. I went out to see what was wrong and the light was full of water. The light was awesome while it worked! The one inside the shed works great and is very bright, but I don't think you can call this an outside light.

Have 2 sets of these for a shed with no electricity. Work well, but have some annoying “features”.1) cannot turn them on during daytime. They only work in a single motion sensor mode during the day (off to on until 15s timeout). Instructions suggest covering the solar panel or disconnecting the cord. Not convenient for any permanent installation. Also super annoying at dusk.2) 15 sec delay is ridiculously short timeout for all motion sense modes. Unless you are constantly moving around, the lights will shut off (or dim) especially if you’re much further than 8-10 feet away. Why couldn’t this be an adjustable time?3) when night does fall and you can turn the lights to on, it’s not as bright as the motion sense bright mode.4) I don’t think the set I have much more than 4 brightness settings (low, med, high, extra high [that only the motion sensor can activate])The motion sense itself does work and is pretty responsive. I have one lamp set to the dim to bright setting so at least there is one light on at night that’s not blinking on and off as I walk around. If I can find one of the remotes, I put them in on mode. So far it runs all night on the automatic low setting even with overcast autumn days.
