Starter came just as seen in pictures. Obviously used before. The product box is torn up but the Amazon box is in great shape. That means Amazon packaged it up and sent it knowing it was damaged.

Starter went out on my son's Jeep Grand Cherokee while I was borrowing it to haul a load of stuff to storage. I was actually able to install this replacent in the gravel parking lot of a run down old gas station in the middle of nowhere

Product came in a day early. I had it installed on my son’s 2003 Malibu and so far it’s been working good. Hopefully this one will last longer than the one I bought from a part store here in town 6 years ago the car wasn’t even daily driven and it only lasted that long.
