The pulley that came with the unit did not fit on the shaft, it was not bored correctly. Two different dimensions inside. Almost broke my install tool. I took it off and installed my old pulley, problem solved. So far, the pump works really well.

I was skeptical about this pump because it’s not a brand I’m familiar with, but I had already replaced my original power steering pump in my 95’ Explorer 4.0 with an expensive remanufactured Ford Motorcraft pump thinking that would be the best way to go. Wrong. It was even noisier than my original pump and leaked like crazy. I was in a bind and needed to replace the pump before driving to vacation in 2 days and so I decided to give this pump a try, and I am very happy I did. It went in without any issues (none more than any other power steering pump replacement) and is absolutely silent with zero leaks. I am thoroughly impressed and relieved. Vacation was saved and so far seems to be a great bang for my buck.

I took this to a professional shop to install owned by a family friend and they said it broke and had to charge me to buy a new one. I’m giving it two stars solely because it looked right compared to the photo and as ordered but it was broken by an air hammer.

Brand new for an old car , very well pleased but wish it included a new high pressure hose washer.I tried to reuse the old one but wound up leaking.Other than that I recommend this if you want a brand new pump for an old 1999 explorer, just get a new washer don't make same mistake I did putting the old one back on , it will leak .My mistake

I installed unit; it works, power steering is smooth, no leaks, looks to be a well built unit for being made in China. Now if I get 150,000-200,000 miles as I did with the Original Motorcraft did in My Sable got me 200,000 miles with me changing the power steering fluid once. This time I will change out the fluid every 30,000 miles to keep the rack seals lubricated it's still original equipment. So for the price and the pump being New and from what I have seen. This PUMP is a GREAT BUY.
