I put this Turbo on a 1999 5.9 in a Freightliner FL60. The turbo on this turbo was not set up the same as in a pickup but same basic turbo. It had to be re phased, threaded flange mount drill out bigger because not threaded the same way as pickup. Waste gate bracket had to be reused fro.old as well as flange to exhaust. I'm not an aftermarket guy...it's sad that Cummins does support these older engines with decent priced parts...I had a qoute for 2600.00 from dealer. I can buy I new oem VGT for an Isuzu 4Hk1 for hundreds less then that...this is a dinosaur compared to that. Anyway, I don't see why I will have any issue with this unit.Good luck

I have put 1000 miles of hard driving on this. Averaging 20 psi boost. I beat on my truck. So far it’s taking it. Sounds great with the silencer removed. Can’t beat it for the price
