I installed this in my 2006 F250 after reading a TSB that Ford had put out on the AC system, it seems that the OEM desiccant would erode over time and allow debris to flow through the system and clog the screen on the orifice tube.The screen on the old tube was covered with a thick coating of slimy garbage at removal, and as of now the system is working very well with the new orifice tube, 20° of cooling through the coil.100% would recommend and would buy again.

Fixed my AC not working on an 05 excursion. If you can’t pull the old one out or (like mine) it breaks, I ran a long screw through mine and pulled the screw. Do so at your own risk.
