Where do I start? I do not recommend this fan be used as a puller or a pusher radiator fan or V8 engine cooling fan. Built for moving air not for automotive use (my opinion). I fabricated a two inch deep 1/8" aluminum shroud, installed in on the puller side (inside of radiator facing to front of truck grille), it worked okay in my backyard for a few days. The first real time test drive (60 miles) the 30 amp relay fuse blew out. After quick side of the highway troubleshooting I discovered why the fuse blew. Outside the fan motor assembly housing was very hot. (Not good) After replacing the blown fuse with the same amperage fuse (30amp) I decided to idle my truck engine pass the operating temperature, the fan started operating at the correct temperature sensor setting (195 degrees) the fan was making a whinning noise then it stopped and started spinning slowly then fast, then slowly then finally the fan motor gave up the ghost. The fan motor burned out due to extremely high operating temperature. Good thing I already had a 12 inch auxiliary cooling fan installed on the transmission fluid cooling coil. I made it home with my truck's engine temperature hovering around 210 degrees. Don't waste your money and time on this fan. Too bad for me for not buying the replacement coverage. Took one 60 mile one trip to find out the fan is not for the application I used it for. All wiring works but very thin in fact too thin for the amount of amperage required to operate the fan.

It's pretty basic but it works well. I can't confirm with a quantitative test that it delivers the CFM it claims to, but it works for keeping my racecar cool with just being tied directly to the radiator. I doubt it pulls 3,000cfm but it's good enough for my needs and has not failed yet.

I don't usually write reviews but I decided to here because this fan is not something anyone should buy. I have alot of expirence innthebautomotive realm I've been working on cars since I was 12 and I have ran a small engine business for 5 years before. Usually when I see reviews of things not working I chalk it up to user error but this is for sure not user error. I had a custom bracket cnc'd that i designed myself to install this fan on my 1985 corvette. It worked well for 3 weeks but on the 4th week I took my car on a 6 hour drive in the summer heat and when I got to my destination the fans windings were burnt up and there appears to be a loose ball bearing inside. It did not last long at all. I was stranded 6 hours away from home in the desert and had to replace the fan with a local autoparts store fan on the side of the road to get me home. When I contacted them for a refund explaining that I had to purchase a new fan to get me home from someone else they did not want to give me a refund since I was 10 days over my 30 day return window even after telling them I was stranded and had to get a different fan elsewhere. I would not recommend getting these fans especially since cooling fans are critical for cars to work properly and a bad fan could result in engine failure.This fan also says 3000 cfm but it's more like 1800 cfmYou can see in picture on left circled part there's a loose part and on right circled part there's burnt copper windings.

Fan works fine but hardware is horrible. The ties vibrated loose and broke fins of my radiator. Now I have a leak.

The shroud and radiator came from another manufacturer…the garbage fans they came with well that’s another review…however these fans kicked ass from the sec they were wired….they sound faster…feel more heavier duty…and overall push waaaay more air that the originals…so far I’m impressed…been installed @6weeks or so…no problems whatsoever awesome deal
