I replaced all the valve springs on my ball lock kegs as well as replaced all the gaskets. These keep a very tight seal and reduce chance of co2 leaks from kegs.

Work great as a replacement for the poppet type. Cheaper in price, however make sure they're aligned correctly. when using make sure they're sitting properly. the use of food grade lubricant will help make the seal easier and secure. no complaints.

I like using these more that the poppet valves that are all one piece. The one piece poppets have gotten stuck in the fittings several times. I have noticed that some corny connectors have larger inside diameters that others causing the one piece versions to get stuck in them. This won't happen with these. Just don't drop them down the drain when cleaning the.

These were a bit longer than the poppets that are in my kegs, but I only bought these to use the small piece (nipple?) in the end of the poppet, which fit my existing one perfectly.

I ordered a set of 8 to refurbish some Corny kegs that had leaky valves. These poppets have fixed the problem every time. The springs are quite strong, so they seal without fail. These also include a set of spare o-rings. I ordered another 2 sets to rebuild all my kegs. Best thing since sliced bread!

I've used other 'universal' poppet valves that are no-way near as good as these. The top surface of the valve is slightly filleted and so will always push through the post and seal properly. I've used some where these edges are raised and sharp and won't completely pass through the end of the post creating a very big mess! The springs have been ground at the ends so that the valve sits vertically within the post and the seal is presented horizontally to the top of the post - this is a nice touch that, again, helps create a good seal. Finally although not stated, 8 spare o-rings are included in the kit.Highly recommended although I see that they are no longer available :(
