This replaced the the trunk latch assembly in my 2011 Mini Cooper S Hatchback. Took me about 30 minutes to install. Assuming it lasts, a great value.

Easy to install. Take care with the plastic connector that goes to the cable and comes from your old unit. I broke mine and had to replace it. But the item works great!
