My tank recently crashed and I had big spike of nitrites, that started affecting my fish. Black phantoms started developing fin rot and few neons had what some would describe as NTD, others as cotton mouth.I do not have spare tank where I could separate fish for the treatment so it had to be done in the main aquarium that holds shrimps too. I am now on 4th day of the treatment with 3 doses already applied. In all fairness I am using it along with melafix and results are amazing. My shrimps are thriving, plants are growing, fins on black phantoms not only stopped rotting but are already rebuilding, neons are very active and their spots on bottom lip are barely visible. All that with ammonia kept at 0ppm and nitrites going down as expected. Might do another week treatment after water change to prevent any issue from coming back. After adding medication to your tank water will start bubbling. That's absolutely normal and will go away so don't pay attention to it. Don't get it on your clothes, carpets etc as it might discolour fabric.Overall would highly recommend

My better has some hard looking scabs. I can't find what it is anywhere or abutting that looks whatever it is so I thought I would try this. He's seeing too so better and swimming more instead of being money. Haven't noticed a change in the bumps though....

test with 1/10 dose first. also don't add directly to tank - dilute in a cup of water first. based on your tap water makeup (and nature of water currently in your tank), Pimafix can be deadly to some fish. and it acts fast. so it either works for your tank or it doesn't. when testing if your fish become lethargic, do a water change to help your fish recover. then, return the product. it may work for someone else but not for your setup. this is why you see mixed reviews for this product. In comparison the sister product Melafix is more forgiving.

I have had limited success with this product. In more than 1/2 the cases the fish heal but maybe they would on their own? Not sure but I have a soft spot in my heart for struggling Bettas in pet stores. Those poor fish living in tiny cup all alone make me sad. So many die and are never homed. I built a large tank for Betta sorority and after quarantine add newbies to my tank. Females aren't as flamboyantly finned out as males so they don't get homes as often. I happen to love them, even the sickly runts I often buy get a fair to better chance at great life with my other gals :)

This product worked miracles. I have a 140 gallon freshwater community tank that has 3 Denison barbs (aka roseline sharks) among current residents. I’ve had them for a few years and they have gotten quite large (~5”). Recently, out of nowhere, one of them developed white patches on their dorsal side that continued to grow. He began swimming very weirdly, almost standing vertically in one place the entire day. I had lost another one like this a few years back and the local fish store thought it was a bacterial infection and had me treat the tank with some white powdery stuff. It did not work and I lost that one. This patch on this little guy kept getting bigger until it looked like he had a cotton ball on his back, I was really despairing and thought I was going to lose him.Went online and found that the cottony growth was probably a fungal infection, which led me to this product. Raced out to the local store and bought the last bottle they had in stock. Put it in the tank the same day after removing the carbon from my sump. It was truly miraculous that after only 1-2 days of treatment, he started improving, The large external fungal growth began separating from his dorsal side and completely fell off in another day, exposing the damage the fungus had caused. He began swimming much more normally and rejoined his 2 schooling mates as they darted about the tank. Also noticed he began eating again.I continued dosing for a week and then did a 25% water change. He was still not fully healed, his external scales had not grown back, so I have continued dosing for another week and will do a second water change. He continues to heal and is almost back to normal appearance and behavior again.I am so thankful for this product and how well it has worked for my fish. Can’t recommend it highly enough and plan on keeping some in stock.

I have 2 beautiful Giant Albino Gouramis (8" and 6" long). One of them developed red patches on the side. In a week the scales on the patch started coming off leaving behind a dirty-looking greenish-gray bulge. The fins also seemed to be tearing away. Both Gouramis soon had white dots on their fins. And they stopped eating completely and started to sit down at the bottom of the tank. So, it looked like my fishes had multiple infections.I ordered Pimafix along with Melafix. Used them both together for 7days as instructed on the bottle. It smells completely natural. It cause a bit of bubble formation on the water surface, but its okay. In 4days, the white dots were gone and the fins looked way healthier. By the 8th day, the greenish-gray bulge had gone completely with just a faint scar remaining. On the 9th day, they were visibly more active and started eating.Only down side is the price. For 118ml, I paid INR.575. If you have a big tank, a 7 day treatment will easily finish off the bottle. Maybe its because, the label on the bottle says 'Made in USA'. The bottle is really sturdy. But the seal inside the cap was just namesake which made me suspect if it was original.Anyways, my fishes are back to being healthy and active. So, no complaints. I highly recommend it!

This product really worked as described! I am a newbie fish owner, so I have very little experience taking care of my goldfish. However, I noticed that he had some scales fallen out after having him for less than 1 month. I didn't know how he had a few of his scales fallen out since he was in a 30 gallon tank. I have few ornaments in the tank, and there weren't any sharp objects as well. I did notice that he loved to puck on corners and squeeze behind the sponge a lot, so I assumed it may have been from that. So, I went online and started reading up on how to take care of my goldfish and how to help him grow back his scales or prevent more from falling. At this time, I also wasn't sure if he had other diseases as well since this was my first time taking care of a fish. So, I saw and read several reviews on this product using it with the API Melafix where previous customers and experienced fish owners wrote about it helping their fish, as well as, preventing diseases and other ailments. I thought I gave this item a try. It was one of the best products I've bought for my fish. It really helped him healed his scales. I noticed the area where his scales were missing darkened and turned fleshy again. In about 1 week or so, I noticed the area started growing scales already. I am very happy with this item. However, this product is very strong. I have a small, young goldfish in a 30 gallon freshwater tank, with a 50 gallon Aquaclear water filter system, and following the dosages for this product for a 30 gallon tank, I noticed my goldfish acted very agitated to this product. His eyes also started bulging out more. After observing this, I did 25% water change and used half the given dosage. I think this amount was more tolerable to my baby goldfish. I also noticed that my fish scales and fins became silkier after a week of usage. I'm really happy I tried this product out. I would recommend a lower dosage if you have smaller fish. I also recommend to do at least 2 days 25% water change every time you use the product.
