OK, I only got it this evening, and have used it once. I'm using it to grind up "calming" cat treats, to mix into the girls' food. Pill pulverizer did the job quickly, no mess, very little effort or strength needed, ground into fine particles. I like the dent in the bottom, as it enables the pestle part to fit down into the dent, and it holds the pill in place, and contains the ground up bits in one place. Easy to dump out the dust into their food bowls. Easy to clean. I haven't tried it on an actual pill, but I'm sure it will work nicely.Oh, and the cats are sleeping now, not fighting. Because previously they would eat around the calming treats. But with the grinder, the particles were mixed into their food and they have no choice but to consume them.

This does the job perfectly. You simply put the pill in, start turning the blue lid on to make it tight and you get a crushed pill.

This doesnt blend the medication smoothly and there is too much spill over and coarses after the turning.The manufacturer should consider redesigning itIt is durable and easy to wash

With others there’s been a lot more mucking around because the twist thread is on the inside, this one is on the outside and made of decent plastic

We have a senior dog that requires daily medication and if she senses there’s medicine in her food, she refuses to eat. This is the perfect solution. It literally crushes the pill into a powder form that so far has gone undetected thus far. Highly recommend. Very easy to use & clean. Very functional.

I needed this product to crush over the counter pills into a powder for someone who can't swallow pills. It is so easy to use, and so fast, and crushes them into a fine powder. No power connection needed, so compact and at such a low price! Great product and would recommend to anyone.

I cannot recommend this product. I bought it because it was inexpensive and had reviews that averaged 4.3 stars. I decided to stop and write this Apex review while I was shopping for a new and different kind of pill crusher on Amazon. I hope I can find one that doesn't rely on hand strength, endurance and flexibility. And preferably one Made In The USA, however, alas, these days American manufactured products are quite hard to find.I have been using the Apex pill crusher twice a day to crush medications for an elderly parent who has trouble swallowing pills. Mixing powdered medications in chocolate pudding has worked well for us - except when bits and pieces of medication crumbs are mixed in that can be felt, tasted and spit out!The Apex has been so hard on my hands that I started using two rubber grippers - to protect my hands from the hard plastic, and to better grip and twist the upper (grinder/crusher) the lower (pill receptacle) halves.But no matter how long I twist and crush, when I open the top, the pills still have small pieces mixed in with the powder. I have to gently shake the powder to get the remaining pieces toward the middle, under the grinding point, then reapply top and twist some more. It takes 2-3 tries before the pills are completely ground into powder. My hands ache all the time these days.When my rubber grippers began wearing out, I started to buy some more grippers. Then I realized how stupid is that?!? A much better solution for me, would be to buy a superior quality product that works differently and requires less physical hand strength. If your hands have arthritis, limited strength, or dry skin - then avoid this product.IMHO, it is better to pay more and buy a superior product - as I have learned the older I get. Also, I've learned to read the good and the bad reviews. What works well for some doesn't necessarily work well for all.

I’ve been using a mini pestle and mortar for years but needed something to take to the Cattery as my aged cat now has more meds than me and being able to crush the tablets properly reduces the stress considerably . It really works. I was a little sceptical and one of the tablets needed a bit more effort. After a second attempt all crushed to powder. I now have the knack. Only had it a couple of weeks but if it lasts like other reviewers have stated I will be very pleased.

Ya tengo más de 3 meses usándolo y es perfecto. Lo utilizo para dar medicamento a una bebe. Muele las pastillas por completo. Lo único malo fue que tardo bastante en llegar.TIP: para que la pastilla se muela perfectamente, denle vuela y regresen y vuelvan a dar vuelta hasta que quede con la textura que deseen.

Très délicat de mettre son cachet "en poudre" si celui ci s'avère gros (type dafalgan).Déçue de recevoir l'article dans un simple fil plastique sans notice rien (photographie de l'article non conforme).Néanmoins produit utile.
