NON-POLARIZED
Our non-polarized lenses protect against harmful UV rays at the same capacity as our polarized ones, but they do not reduce the same amount of glare. Non-Polarized do not have the filter built in to block out horizontal light rays or reduce glare.
POLARIZED
Polarized lenses have a special chemical applied to them to filter light. The chemical's molecules are lined up specifically to block some of the light from passing through the lens. Think of it like a mini-blind hanging in front of a window. Only light that passes through the blind's openings can be seen.
POLARIZED PRO
Our anti-reflective (AR) lenses coatings are specifically designed to decrease the amount of reflective light in your lenses. We coat the back side of our lenses to control the amount of light that enters your eyes. This also eliminates annoying side-glare if the sun is behind or next to you. You can tell the difference by the purplish hue on the inside of a PRO lens.
PRO+
Simply put, these are our best lenses, they come with a cleaning spray and cloth to keep your sunglasses looking fresh! Polarized PRO+ have enhanced clarity, AR coating, polarization and are 1.5MM thick. They easily snap into your favorite frames!

I really wanted to like these lenses. They fit perfectly in my XL VISE. No issues at all! Until I started wearing them and they had like this warp view. It really messed with my vision to a point of headaches and nausea. This could be just me.. but Obviously, significantly less than the actual replacements from Heat Wave. If you are looking for a quick fix these are the way to go.

So I ordered the first set of my lenses, and within 2 weeks the gold started flaking off, I reached out to customer care and friendly as ever and had another set sent out to me right away, My issue is I gave them another chance and used them I have been using them and Kept up with the instructions they said not to take them into a pool or the ocean, witch I have not. i have also used the cloth that they provided with the lenses to wipe clean, the lenses themselves are sturdy durable and strong however what ever they use for the polarization portion is very low quality, the only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because of how great the customer service is. it may Just be the gold ones that do it, I do plan to try another lens from them to give them another shot but I recommend staying away from the gold ones.

The lenses are high quality and fit perfectly in my Heatwave Vise XL frames. I have been wearing them daily for about a month now and they still are scratch free. The color is true to the sellers image.Would buy again!

***UPDATE***I've reduced my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. These lenses over time begin to crack and peel. To be honest, I put these glasses in my truck in the sunglass holder portion of my F-150, and then forgot about them. I've worn them maybe twice, and they've rode up there for the last 6 months or so. The lenses have started to crack and peel without any use. I understand heat may play some factor here, but I've had entire pairs of sunglasses in which I paid less than I did for these lenses alone that have never done this. I'm very unhappy with the results and expected longer / better results for the price. I would avoid these, at least the unpolarized versions...On the left are a pair of my heatwave visual xl vise glasses with heatwave lens. On the right are a pair of my heatwave visual vise xl vise with Apex lens. They fit perfectly. The change out was simple and fast. The pair I choose to swap out the lens with were on old RX pair I had (I also wear contacts), and I installed these non-RX lens into the frames. I choose the non-polarized lens due to the fact in my job, I am sometimes outside using my phone / ipad screen to fly UAVs. Polarized lens make it hard to see the screen.With this review, I cannot supply any review on longevity as I just installed yesterday. I'll try to remember to update in a few months. I will say that Heatwave lens have not impressed me in the past with their longevity, so if these last 6 months or more, I'll be more than satisfied.
