The instrument is designed for water quality professionals, offering long-term reliability in high-accuracy turbidity measurement with an intuitive operating system and simple calibration. Powered by 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery, the meter can operate continously for up to 20 hours. Everything comes in a rugged carrying case, including the meter, AMCO calibration solutions (0, 20, 100, 400, 800 NTU), 6 pieces of sample vials, USB charger, silicone oil, a microfiber wipe, and a user manual.

It's a nice, complete kit, with carrying case, extra batteries, a tiny screwdriver (for the waterproof battery hatch), and a bunch of sample jars and standards. Everything seems well built, with stable calibration/results and good resolution and range. Recommended.

We had been looking for a more economical and reliable turbidity meter to replace our aging HACH units and this fits the bill perfectly. We have 4 or 5 of these now and they are easy to use and the case it comes in is also great compared to the huge "tacklebox" style other brands come in. The replacement standards are also easy to order and use and it comes with plenty of sample vials for tests in the field. Very happy so far.

I have sent this turbidity meter back 3 times as it won't produce reliable readings. The say they test it and send it back saying it works fine. We have never had issues with the Hach and I regret trying this one out as it's been a waist of time and money. Should have bought the Hach.

Complete package, easy to use, nice instructions, good support, seems well made. BEST feature is NO buttons. Smooth, water-proof data plate. BEST quality is that it costs 25% of the price of a new HACH 2100Q and comes with a 2 year warranty instead of a 1 year warranty! I bought TWO of these units for the cost of repairing a 3 year old Hach. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't used it much yet so I don't know long term durability.

This was bought as an emergency backup for our Hach 2100 meters. We were impressed, it's as accurate at roughly 1/3 the price! Long delivery times on the Hach, not with this meter.

We have used this product to assess the extent of turbidity in newly made wines. The instrument provides consistent, reproducible MTU values obtained using a simple, convenient format. The results obtained have enabled accurate prediction of our wine's heat stability, essential data needed prior to bottling.
