It was a perfect fit as suggested and took 5 minutes to install. Saved us from a potentially hours long job of tearing the dash apart to replace the entire cable! It is holding still a couple weeks in.

I purchased this item back in Sep. '21. The install was smooth and it worked as it should. Just bummed 3 years later and it broke off. I left home and the shifter felt soft. When I arrived at work, I checked the connection, and the bushing was missing.

Pieces work, but seems like its like pieces for 4 different vehicles. Going strong for 6 months. Easy to install, once you figure it out.

Had the dreaded "won't shift into gear" issue and after a quick online search we narrowed down it was probably the shifter cable bushing that had failed. Crawled under the vehicle and sure enough, the bushing was gone. Found this one, and decided to order it as it was available next day.Pros:The included tool make install take less than 30 seconds. We used a set of channel locks to push the busing in with the included tool. Bushing popped right in and the cable pushed right back onto the transmission gear selector.Worked as advertised on our 2013 Chevy Express 3500.Cons:Price - It's a cheap bushing, can't see why it's so expensive. Yes the included tool is nice, but it's a bit on the expensive side for what it is. Paid the price since we needed the vehicle for work, and it was going to cost us more having it down for another day than the price of the part.Overall it was a quick and easy fix and the part did as advertised.

I thought this was the “sure shot” fix after trying Dorman’s cheap bushing that never worked.I installed this as directed by the video. Everything seemed good and I had no problems for three and a half weeks, then it broke out. It was broken badly enough that after nylon ties to get me home, there was not any of the blue bushing left in the shift cable. It broke like the material was brittle. Waste of 23.00 dollars!I’ve got another Dorman pos in it for now, until I can get a new cable in. Really bummed with this one!(I would have put a picture up, but there was nothing left to take a picture of)

This item saved me hundreds of dollars. Used it on a chevy car. Im going to give a back story cause you wont find many videos on this easy problem you can fix yourself. My car got stuck in park (never did that before) it would start & it would shift to any gear but would not move. ( Which is a good sign you do not need to replace the whole shifter cable, ( Cost 400/500 dollars) it just means the plastic bushing cracked and needs to be replaced. Never replaced one before and it was hard to reach down to replace it,( make sure your car is in park when replacing it.) we took the tire off and reached up and replaced it that way. So far so good. Might be a good idea to have a spare. Dislikes it comes with no instructions or video on how to replace it. Do your research.
