Great blackout shade. They are easy to install and function perfect for roll up shades. my only complaint is that the width of the shade could be slightly bigger for the selected measurements. once i added my curtains on either side, it helped with the light coming in through the sides of the shade. We decided to purchase more for my kids bedrooms as well.

These are solid blackout blinds at a great price. The roll is smooth. You guide it up, so none of the crazy spring action that can flip your roller onto the floor. The balance gives a clean look and not cheap looking imho (no one but us is in the bedroom so I don’t care too much but didn’t want them to look crappy). I inside mounted as I also don’t care about the cracks of light on the sides. Instead of drilling, I used 15lb xtra strong picture hanging Command strips and holding up great for 3 weeks so far. I cut each to size of the bracket, stuck them on each bracket (top where screws would go), stuck them to the top of the window frame, push/hold and waited a bit, then snapped the blind in. No measuring and easy peasy! This is why there is a crack of light at the top—the Command strips are 2-pieces with Velcro. If you want no-drill and don’t like the look of the ones you wedge in, these work great. The dogs and us humans are sleeping really well now!

I received the wrong size. Even if I choose my size in the drop down menu, I still received the size that's in the subject of the item. Was wondering why it was cheaper than the rest. Any1 else got this issue?

Great product and very easy to install. The linen beige is very pretty and really blacks out the light

These blackout shades are awesome. They are ridiculously easy to install. They come in several different colors, they're thick enough to block plenty of sun light and appear to be plenty durable. Being cordless is another plus. Unlike corded blinds or the spring coiled kind you have to pull and release, these blinds are set it and forget it. Whatever height you move the blind to, it just stays. It's wonderful. These will fit almost any window with ease, just measure. Now I mounted mine outside the window instead of inside but compared to other more expensive, non returnable custom options, these are inexpensive, returnable and I'm in love. They're all over our house.

I did not know it would be that easy to install. Sturdy and good quality material, very blackout. I was worry because my window was 0,5 wider than the shade but it fits very well, there is only a small 0.25'' gap on each side and it does not bother me because there are panes in front so I can block some more sunlight.

These shades are superb at blocking out the light, and I did not have much trouble installing them. The blinds, so far anyway, move up and down with ease (they don't get caught up as the old-fashioned white vinyl roll-up blinds tended to do), and they appear to be fairly durable. If you plan on attaching these shades inside the window, you will need a window sill and frame that is about 3 inches deep to install these as they are designed. If your window frame is a bit less than 3 inches, you still should be able to install these blinds, but they will stick out from the window just a bit. If your window frame is really shallow, you may not be able to install these blinds inside the window but will have to attach them outside the window. Screws are included with the brackets, and there are also plastic anchors to use with the screws for installing into drywall. Although this evidently does not cause a problem, the screws provided are wood screws and the holes in the brackets are not countersunk. As a result, the screw heads will stick out a bit from the surface of the bracket. The screw heads don't seem to stick out far enough to interfere with the blinds, but, just in case, I replaced the four screws for each shade I bought with four 6 x 1 sheet metal screws. I did not have to mount the brackets at an exact set distance apart along the top of the window (you just mount the brackets far enough apart to hold up the blinds firmly), which made installation easier since there was no measuring involved in setting the placement of the brackets.

Like: Quality of product, how effortless it is to open and close the shade, how easy it was to install, effectiveness of product (little to no light gets in or out), and the color is as pictured (I purchased the grey). Also, the design makes these very easy to dust/clean.Dislike: I did not replace the whole house with these shades.I will absolutely be ordering more in the future.

The curtains are not completely blackout (or maybe we should buy wider ones), but we like it! I don’t like to sleep in complete darkness, so the little tiny light is fine with me. It doesn’t look cheap, good quality and nice looking!

We just purchased a new 5th wheel and 3 roller blinds failed to catch within the first month and we found the back blind pulled apart from the roller and fell on the sofa. Our last RV had nice blinds, starts with M ends with D, and as nice as they were, even one blind had to be replaced. Going back to the old brand we found the exact blinds like these for 10 times the money. So we took a gamble, and did it pay off. These are the easiest, fastest blinds I've ever hung. They fit perfectly between the window and overhead cabinets. We have a shelf over the bedside windows in a slide and I thought that is where I'll have to modify but I didn't, they fit perfectly. We were able to buy these blinds for the entire RV for about the same price as just the back window from our other brand. They blackout light, they respond well with a gentle pull or push. We travel with the blinds up and then pull a little over top of window when we park. They are lightweight. I placed the brackets flush with the top of the window frame and pre-drilled tiny pilot hole before securing to metal frame inside wall that supports window. Don't push too hard, the metal frame is thin and is penetrated easily with a tiny sharp bit. I also placed my fist between my drill and the wall so I didn't push the bit all the way in to protect the outer wall. I used the screws that came with the blinds, gripped well and perfect length. I added one pic with blind all the way up to show the placement. We just pull the blinds down to cover the top of the window. Getting rid of the side valances made the look more modern, feels like a larger space and the light is still blocked. We love the look. We ended up framing the window over the kitchen stove area and painted the same color as the blinds and added peel and stick tile and a privacy film on the window glass. We could have added a blind here but opted for a different look. We measured the window width from outside the frame and added 4 inches when ordering. I compared a lot of blinds before purchasing. All the blinds arrived extremely well packaged and not damaged. I'd buy these again and again and again.
