This product is very like or dislike for customers.The listing is a little misleading too.The packaging was very easy to handle, it was practically done as well. The item came in perfect, or as expected.The assembly was very self explanatory or easy to do; ultimately you slide the floating piece on under the side clasps and voila, you’re set.Then you just fill with water until the floating cover hits the clasps.This is really good with slip resistance as it doesn’t slide around at all, and it it’s a great size as it holds a good amount of water for larger dogs (smaller dogs would need water changed out frequently which is a waste). It’s very easy to clean as it’s just the two pieces and it’s very easy to use, very functional in what it was created to do, but that’s where the greatness ends.The downsides to this are essentially 2 things.1. The way this works is that the floating cover has a few holes that allows a little water to seep through letting the dog know there is water there. Then the dog licks at it, which causes the cover to buoy down by force of tongue.What I’m assuming is annoying or frustrating to my dog is that there is very little water present to him during this process, she she is constantly scraping or barking at the water the way she uses to do if her previous water bowl was empty. Secondly, the clanging of the cover as it buoys is very annoying to her as she would constantly stop as she goes to drink.Lastly, I found the floating cover has this slimy residue underneath after using it a few days. I did clean it before use, but the slimy texture gave me cause for pause on this item.Ultimately this could be great for larger dog owners, or multiple dogs, who are not picky or sensitive. Maybe even great for travel use due to its simplicity, but I don’t recommend for every dog and everyday use.

I can not say enough good things about this product!!! A perfect 10 in my book. I haven’t had one wet spot on my floor since setting it down. My lab puppy gets water everywhere!! NOT anymore ! Even my cat prefers it over his bowl. Thank you for no more wet feet!!

Love the value, ability for my large a s small dogs to be able to all 3 use the bowl, the water capacity and ease of assembly. The design is simple and my dogs had no learning curve in using lol!

This should be the “standard” water bowl in all houses. I’m obsessed with this thing, and so is my dog! My dog Wren is losing her sight and had a hard time with regular bowls. I tried them all, but she would put her paw in it to see where the water was and it would spill everywhere. She loves this new water bowl bc only a little comes out of the disc, so she knows exactly where it’s at and isn’t overwhelmed. She also chokes easily, so this bowl helps a lot with slowing her down. She will sit and drink for 10 mins straight 🤣 I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner, but highly recommend switching to this style of bowl for ALL dogs, benefitting your furry friend AND you with no spillage!

This bowl is great for messy drinkers, it has drastically cut down on the water splashes around the bowl as well as the walk away splashes. The dogs adjusted to it right away and in fact were drinking more water than usual for the first week, they have since settled down to their usual intake. 4 stars because I wish it were bigger. This waterer replaced a one gallon bowl that I filled once morning and night, now I fill 3-4 times a day. Not the worse thing, but it would be nice if it held a gallon.The plastic bowl is nicely heavy so it doesn’t tip over, having a flat bottom helps with that as well. The floating part allows enough water to pool so the dogs drink easily. I have one heavy drinker and it sometimes sounds like she will never stop drinking. I’m happy with this bowl, if they should come out with a one gallon I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Our dog likes to get more water outside the bowl than in his mouth and this bowl has helped with that immensely. The floater piece is one solid piece that comes out so it is very easy to clean. Both of our dogs have no problem drinking from it. It has definitely saved us a couple lakes on our floors.Disclaimer: if your dog is like ours and intentionally holds water in his cheeks when he walks away solely so he can dump it all over you and the floor, you will probably still get some water here and there, but this bowl has DRASTICALLY taken that amount down for us and we definitely recommend.
