And very handy that they can be shut off so easily with the little tab. These are not just for balloons - they're for any small item that could use a little fun. Little candle holders, etc. In fact, with a little glue, you could put these on anything!

These were really cool and fun to use! It worked out beautifully at my function. I was surprised that they actually lasted longer than the description or instructions on the box stated. It kept on flashing for DAYS! We re-inserted the tabs to re-use them again at a later date. I'm glad I had that option. So, please remember not to throw away the tabs when you pull them out. If your patient enough to reinsert all the little tabs then this item will last you longer than you think!

I have used these 2 times now. Once for my daughters Birthday, I put them into clear balloons and little vases. The 2nd time I put them into a potion jar as part of my Woodland elf costume. They stay lit for a month, crazy! They are really little and are a chocking hazard so be careful!

Bought these to test in balloons for possible banquet decor. One little light lit up the ballon nicely and all five lights tested stayed on for two days/48 hours. I could have easily replaced the pastic tab to save them for later but wanted to see how long they'd go.Side note. There is a little hole in the light that I was able to string some thread through. I used the thread to keep the light near the nozzle of the balloon by pulling the thread tight before tying the balloon. This kept the light steady facing downwards instead of rolling around the ballon which usually resulted in a "dark" side of the balloon.

I found that a few of the led lights were not working and on close inspection I observed that the batteries were misaligned. I took a tooth pick and pushed on the batteries through the tab slot restoring operation. I further found that the ball housing can be pried apart which allows the two LR41 button batteries to be replaced making them reusable. The led must be pulled out to get to the batteries. Before removing the led, look carefully at how the led wires are on the batteries and small battery push spring so you can put it together the same way after replacing the batteries. Also, the led has a plus and minus wire, so after replacing the batteries if the led won't light, pull it out, turn it around and push it back in place. Snap the housing halves together, replace the on/off tab and it's ready for another time. This may sound complicated but once you carefully take one apart and see how simple it was fabricated the wording above will make sense.

I understood these would be different colors, or would cycle through colors slowly, instead they flash through and strobe different colors rapidly in a way that I consider obnoxious. Not what I wanted, but I have found a great use for them- stick them somewhere hard to reach (super easy due to their size) as a prank, endlessly confusing and annoying for the victim and highly entertaining for me. Worth the price for the years of pranks

The light up and last a few hours. I used these to throw my boys a nice light up/glow birthday sleep over. These are a huge hit with the kids. They began to pop the balloons just to get to the lights. Major warning ⚠️⚠️⚠️ the lights would sometimes explode when thrown or the balloon pops
