This AODSK Piano is perfect for an adult beginner piano player. My resolution for 2025 is to learn to play the piano by the end of the year, so I can read sheet music for moderately difficult songs. I have zero understanding of music or any musical instruments.Like any enthusiastic adult with a new hobby, I watched tons of YouTube videos to figure out what gear I needed to start this journey. The common theme I heard was to get an 88-key piano with touch-sensitive keys, at least semi-weighted keys, and a sustain pedal. This was the cheapest unit I could find on Amazon that met all these conditions, so I bought it.When I received it, I wasn't impressed as the packaging was torn up and looked like a return. After assembling it, I initially struggled because when I pressed any white key, all the white keys pressed together. I thought I got a lemon but realized after a while that there was plastic tape for packaging that stuck to all the white keys. Once you peel that off, the keys work independently. The documentation says a lot of nonsense, like it has a rechargeable battery, which I found out is not true after contacting AODSK support email. Talking about support, I must say that my experience with their email support was prompt and very helpful, making me give them a 5-star rating. All my issues were addressed immediately, and they did everything they could to make it right. My final view on this digital piano is that it is a great, visually appealing unit for an adult beginner. It doesn't look like a kid's piano with a lot of colorful buttons everywhere, and the wood panel surrounds and legs make it an acceptable piece of furniture in an adult home. Once I hone my skills and decide this is a hobby I want to take to the next level, I might invest in a Roland or Yamaha for better piano sounds and full hammer action keys.

I was excited in the beginning to pruchase this for our great niece. The perso in the video had mentioned," was really surprised the the keys were weighted, and sounded close to a acostic grand piano". When we received the piano , i could not wait to hear the sound and feel the weighted keys, what a big let down, the keys had no wieght to it, not even semi weighted. She also proclaimed that this would be a perfet piano to go from beginners to intermediate. If you are looking for a good startin learning the pianofor yourself or loved one, do not purchase this one. It has more of a plastic/ synthesizer feel. Its strictly a non wighted keys. We are in the process of returning and purchased an upgraded version. Weighted full size keys alittle more money but as long as it of good quality, that's more important. Learning the proper way and building skill level in piano playng.

highs and lows sound distorted when pressed at the same time or in general a lot of keys pressed sound distorted but specifically the highs and lows don’t sound great but overall it’s still a pretty good piano for a beginner tryna dip their feet in comes with just a power cord and headphones and the cable to the pedal gotta buy your own midi i suggest running it through a midi software midi to qwerty then go on virtual piano.com sounds a whole lot better

My daughter is taking piano lessons and needed a piano at home to practice on. The piano looks really nice and most importantly is a full size. It comes loaded with hundreds of different sounds and tempos. There are a few downsides but none of the deal breakers.1. The included headphones are trash.2. The sustain pedal just randomly stopped working...by not stopping working.3. The volume difference between 1 and 10 is negligibleOtherwise, this is a great piano and serves it purpose.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this piano given the price. The design is sleek and well made, it’s not flimsy at all. I was expecting it to wobble while I played but it does not. It was super easy to assemble. Sound is decent given the price and it has so many different sounds/functions. The keys aren’t bad either I’ve had other keyboards with keys much lighter. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this piano given the price.

Alot of what this keyboard has to offer from a functional standpoint is pretty basic. Keys are simulated to be weighted and feel nice. There are plenty of reasonable sounds to choose from but the base piano is pretty good! Functions well as a midi and the keys are very responsive and have nice pressure sensitivity for sound. The speakers that are built in were a surprise to me because i didnt expect it to even make sound on its own and theyre adequite for any player. Came with a set of note stickers for the keys so dont bother buying the $7.99 set thatll be requested after you add this to your cart.In terms of looks, this keyboard looks a lot nicer than a keyboard youd spend $170 on and the overall construction is pretty sturdy and it feels like a quality machineOverall im very happy with the purchase, its a great looking piece of furniture and a very functional music tool.I would recommend to anyone learning piano or even a piano pro who just wants a cheap sharp looking keyboardThe faux woodgrain on the keys is a little weird to be honest but its not super textured, you dont even notice after the second time playing itI dont bs when i leave reviews so if youve been considering this keyboard and are unsure, just buy it. I swear you wont feel scammed or regretful in the slightest
