This is by far the easiest remote to setup and to use. The wrist band makes it very nice to hang onto while making any camera adjustments. Distance has not been a problem and the device works as advertised. It is plastic but can withstand normal drops.

Works great for my Canon mirrorless cameras. I would say it is a Canon without bearing the name. One thing I would fault is it doesn’t have an off button. However after leaving it three weeks without use the remote still works. It must be auto off.

This remote was ordered in order to take self-family photos but I was surprised to learn at the start of our beach shoot that unless you have direct line of sight between the camera and the remote, it will not take the picture. Because of this I was unable to take any pictures where my hand wasn't visible and pointing directly at the camera. I was hoping to hide the remote behind someone while clicking the shutter button. However, the remote is good if you don't need to hide it and can instead use it wide open. But for the reason I purchased it, it was useless.

This remote works great with my M50. Able to use auto focus and shutter. It will not work with zoom/telephoto unless you purchase the canon PZ-E2 power adapter which cost $999.00. But the remote is worth having for the Auto Focus and shutter.

I bought this remote to pair with my Sony a7c. It connected flawlessly and I am liking the results. It registers all the clicks with no failed clicks. The size is good and it is light weight. The wireless connection is stable. I am enjoying it so far.

I bought this remote to use with my Sony FX30, and it was a little bit of a chore to get working. At first the Sony FX30 paired with the remote almost immediately. But... after 10-20 seconds the remote would not work, and I would have to re-pair it with my Sony FX30. It just would not stay connected.Well, after some research I found that the latest firmware of my FX30 was not compatible to this remote, many people were having this same problem, the remote will not stay connected to the Sony FX30.The Answer!!!I also found that Aodelan knows about this problem and has fixed it with a newer firmware update. So, if you have a Sony FX30 with the latest firmware update and this remote is not working, go to Aodelan support and download the latest firmware update for this remote. I downloaded the firmware, installed it and it works great with my Sony FX30.FYI... You will see a C USB connection at the base of this remote.Take care my friends.

A little confusing setting up. Got on YouTube followed the instructions to the letter and it works great. The beauty of it is you may not use it for a week or so. You turn on the camera again and decide that's what you're gonna use. It works just like the day you install. I tried a couple of second party ones and they were not as reliable the seven dollars I saved by buying them wasn't worth it bought to Cannon follow the instructions even if they were on YouTube were great.

Make sure you turn it off after use otherwise you will have a dead battery after a single use of burst shots.I forgot to turn it off after using it once and I came back to a dead battery.12/01/2024I had to buy a second remote because I lost the battery holder for the first.The second remote doesn't stay connected to the camera for more than a few shoots.I used the new remotes holder on the orignal one and the shooting function works fine.But with this I would not buy a third. I would suggest if you plan on using the remote a lot that you buy something from Nikon itself.
