These are great for setting up a part in a machine vise as long as the part is thicker than this angle block.

I used these to verify my saw angles as part of a project building some 3-D cutting boards (see photos). My first attempt was a bust because the chop saw was slightly out of alignment and for these designs to work, you need to make cuts at exactly 30 degrees. not 29.7, not 30.2 but dead-on-b@11s-accurate 30 degrees. Once I received these I was able to get everything dialed in within a couple of minutes and just a few test cuts. Worth every penny, this set of 30/45/60/90 squares cost less than a plain 90-degree machinists square at the local woodworking tool shop. Also since they're solid I'm less concerned about them staying true if they take an accidental tumble off a workbench at some point.

Angels are pretty spot on finish is nice thickness is a little less than discribed checked with a micrometer and both are 1-2 thou under stated thickness but im not gonna use them as shims. And they could have been marked for the angel value.but over all good value for the price and will recommend to others looking for a set of 45/30 degree angle blocks.

I have another set of angle blocks, with a dozen or so block covering all kinds of angles, but I realized that most of the time I'm looking for 30, 60, or 45 degrees. These are a perfect fit in the hobbyist machine shop

Oh yeah these are nice. Precision for a great price. All tips are sharp, instead of one being squared off like you find on angle block sets, so you can slide these right into the inner corner of a square to scribe a line if desired. I've also used it as a makeshift master square to check the squareness of a double square. Can also use to check whether those Chinese 320 degree protractors are accurate. The sky blue case with fitted padding is a bonus. Keep these oiled and they'll last you forever.
