Your cart is empty. The Active PoE Splitter splits a PoE signal into an 12VDC power and 10/100Mbps ethernet data source.
This device allows you to run ethernet cables from a PoE Switch over long distance, and then split the PoE signal into a separate data signal and 12Vdc power sources in order to run an non-PoE devices.

If you have camera that requires an external power brick - and don't want to have to deal with a power brick, this can turn that camera into a poe camera if used with a powered switch.Which is great... But... This thing will need like a 7/8" hole to hide the wires - if you need to hide them.

Brilliant bit of kit. Had a PTZ camera that I liked that doesn't have PoE and so this little converter works like a charm. NICELY waterproof too. Very pleased.

The PoE Splitter works well, I didn't have to run a stepparent power cable for my camera. It was a big time saver, I put the PoE Splitter in a water proof box mostly to hide the connections so it doesn't look like an eye sore. If you use one of these PoE splitter make sure you camera or device works on 12 volts. Some cameras work on 5 volts and if that's the case this PoE spitter is not the one you want.

I use this to power an outside mic next to an ipcam that needed 12v. I have it connected to a unifi poe switch which provides the correct voltage to the splitter. I don't use the data port as I just needed power and the mic plugs into my camera directly. For what I need it was the best deal. The rubber washer broke on mine but once compressed around the cat6 cable it didn't matter.

I bought 2 of these thinking I would replace my existing non-weather resistant splitters. Immediately fried my wyze camera which smells of burnt circuits. I tried 4 cameras total and two of these splitters and it fried everyone of them instantly, no power on just burnt cameras.

I used this PoE splitter with a which has both Pan/Tilt and Optical Zoom. I also tried this with a which is a basic bullet camera.In both cases, the camera fully operated and all features (including IR lights) worked as expected.This is a simple device which works fantastically well. I will be purchasing more of these in the future to bring PoE simplicity to non-PoE cameras.
