I bought this to use a gender changer for my old Macintosh and my SCSI setup. They have been working as expected without any issues.

My bad for not reading the description but I thought an item labeled as a gender changer would actually change the gender. Instead this is male on one side female on the other (as I now see the description states) so just a very short extension of what i already have. Not sure the purpose of this. In past when purchased "gender changer" was able to turn a female end into a male end. Product came quickly and I quickly put in with my cables but now that i need to connect female to female I'm out of luck. Again my bad for not reading description better but warning to others it is not a gender changer.

Attached (male HDMI TO female VGA) adapter, and same at other end, to connect other TV’s to computer to eliminate long VGA cord. Mission accomplished. Works as expected.
