This stuff is what dreams are made of. I bought this expecting to return it after it didn’t work. I had cleaned my rotors and pads with degreaser, alcohol and used a blow torch to remove oil on the pads and they still squeaked. This was my last ditch effort before buying new pads and rotors. Then I used this and it worked like a dream. It only takes a tiny amount of the product as well. One purchase is essentially a lifetime supply.

I used this once, and it worked to get the squeel out, but it probably would have been cheaper and just as effective to replace the pads again (even though they were brand new). I thought I'd have occasion to use this again, but it's been a few years and I haven't needed it yet.

I'm not as impressed as others seem to be. It works ok I guess but did not completely eliminate my squeal. I think you can achieve similar results just by cleaning with isopropyl and resurfacing with sandpaper. Using this product, you still have to take the pads out to clean the paste off properly so it doesn't save you any time or effort. At $30 it is very expensive (although a jar will last a very long time).

UPDATE 12-8-22Still no more squeals 50 miles later..Ordered this after watching YT video : Lectric XP 2.0 - How To Stop Your BRAKES From SQUEALINGStep 1. Put a small amount on the disc (both sides) ...maybe the size of two green peas on either side, just behind the disc brake . Try to put on most of that on the face of the rotor, without getting too much in the holes.Step 2. Push the bike forward just a tiny bit,and stop when the treated area has gone into the caliper mechanism.Step 3. Squeeze the rear brake lever (right brake) a couple of times. move the bike an inch forward and squueze a couple of times.Step 3. Move back a couple of inches. Dont get out of the treated area. Repeat squeezing and moving an inch at a time. Now, lightly squeeze the lever and roll the bike around, dragging the brake pads against the moving disc. After a couple of times of this, you are ready to do a short test ride....on the sidewalk - not the road !! That is because the first couple of stops are probably too wet with cleaner. If squeals are still there ,try a second small application. If still there , watch the YT video I mentioned at the start, by Pedal With Power , where he removes and lightly sands the brake pads. In that video he also promotes No-Squeal as his first try solution. This Squeal-Out cream is for very minor cases...refinishing or replacing the pads is required for worse cases, and is quite easy to do, so in the grand scheme of things, squealing brakes are a simple thing of basic bike maintenance. In two days I will update whether todays "fix" was short-lived or and actual fix for a longer time.

After cleaning the pads, the rotors, degreasing, etc. my brakes worked but sounded like a flock of geese following me down the trail. A light brushing of product onto both sides of the rotors and the noise is gone! My forest bike rides are peaceful and quiet again.A lot of bad reviews that it doesn't work... CLEAN YOUR ROTORS AND PADS FIRST. THEN APPLY THE PRODUCT. I have taken my bike out after treating them and they are still silent (2nd ride in). The key is not putting this on top of oily rotors or pads.Quick tip - I would use a small, soft-bristle brush to apply a small amount. Also, before you go bellowing down the mountain on your bike - do some full pressure, low-speed loops around your driveway or block to fully set this. Otherwise, you will have "soft" brakes on your next ride. Overall, very pleased with this.

I assembled my F10Disc Pinarello with SRAM AXS hydraulic brakes on Shimano 160mm discs. After multiple attempts at proper brake bed-in process they continued to squeak and grate. It was really frustrating on this high end a bike. I was about to just buy new pads and rotors and start over when someone suggested I try this product. Have to admit I was skeptical. One application and the braking is perfect. Quiet and solid. Follow the instructions carefully. You will not have any braking power while the stuff is doing it's magic, so do one brake at a time and use level ground to ride it in on. Carefully removing the remaining goo from the rotor and pads was the hardest part. It's now been 2 months and the brakes continue to work perfectly. I'm a convert to PV BIKE WORKS Squeal Out and highly recommend it.

I bought a used electric fat tire bicycle that had a large, front hub motor. The rear brakes worked fine but the front ones squealed terribly! I took it to a bike shop for a basic tune up and the squeal was SLIGHTLY reduced at the expense of braking power. I tried cleaning and sanding the pads and rotors to no avail. Finally, got this today and immediately got satisfactory results. I have good braking power with little to no squeal. Follow the instructions carefully and use SPARINGLY. I thought I hadn't used nearly enough but a little bit went a very long way. Plus you can treat the brake multiples times if necessary.I now have two functioning brakes on a heavy e-bike that can go 30mph. Needless to say, I am very happy with the initial results and it only took about 20 minutes to apply and treat properly. Highly recommend even for the worst sounding brakes. Thank you for reading!
