the knocker is pretty but I had to go to the hardware store to buy screws that would match because the item did not come with any. I contacted customer service to no avail because he said the description does not say it comes with screws! Strange!

My neighbor bought one of these. It was lovely, but in our condo complex we are not allowed to put screws in the door so our door knockers have to be put up with very strong tape. The back of this knocker is concave so even though they put it up with Gorilla tape, the small outer rim that had to be used to mount the knocker wasn't enough surface to hold the knocker and it fell and broke. Be aware that there isn't enough surface to mount with tape, even using really strong Gorilla tape. BTW, my turtle knocker is staying up with the same Gorilla tape they used even though it's very heavy (weighs over 1 lb) as it has a flat back measuring 1" x 3". This hummingbird knocker has to be put up with screws.

No mounting screws! Clacker half is loose and twists back and forth. It is very pretty but lacks attention to these operational details.
