The workmanship and craftsmanship in this piece is just so beautiful, thank you Korea for keeping craftsman like these employed and supported. I’ve been searching for for a jewelry box fora couple of years. I wanted something really special and eye catching. This jewelry box exceeded my expectations. First of all, it was packaged like no other. They took great care, to ensure there was no damage during shipping. The craftsmanship on this Jewelry box is absolutely stunning! Between the detailed mother of pearl carvings, against the deep red, really stands out. It was a birthday present to myself, and worth every penny. I love, love, love my jewelry box!!!

Frankly, I wasn't expecting something so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!I thought this jewelry box would have "touches" of Mother-of pearl in the designs-well I was WRONG, the designs are 95% Mother -of- pearl (!) Even my Husband (a Military Officer) who doesn't get "worked -up" easily over "things" -I presented him with a gorgeous $600.00 dollar Movado watch ,to which he said "yeah, that's nice" (a RAVE from him)said (upon seeing this jewelry box come out of the packing ,beautifully packed by the way) " hey, that's really beautiful! , look how they even used different colors of abalone shell under the 2 cranes* ( whose necks are intertwined, symbolizing love-I looked it up) * to make a mosaic under the cranes" ! I looked at him and asked "what did you do with my Husband"? It just goes to show that even a man whose idea of beauty is a fresh set of camouflage and a pair of polished combat boots, recognizes beauty when he sees it. This jewelry box is exquisite!

Fist of all id like to say Antique Alive is one of the best, honorable, and respectable sellers on Amazon.... When I purchased the box it came in a timely maner with no damage @ all to the jewelry box. After opening it the first thing I noticed was how beautiful and amazing the box looked! After further inspection of the box I noticed that one of the cranes on the box was missing a beak. I immediately notified Antique Alive about the defect on my purchase. Without no hesitation they let me know their concern and sent me a new box. This is what people look for in costomer service and makes them in my mind a very respectable and honerable company to deal with. I suggest to anyone to purchase one of these boxes for a loved one. I got it for my girlfriend and the smile on her face was priceless. 8 months now after the purchase she still tells me how much she loves her jewelry box...... Thank you so much Antique Alive...
