This proved to be perfect for what I needed. My new desktop computer lacks an optical drive, so I was seeking a non-slip pad that would keep the drive I salvaged from my old computer from slipping around. This pad "wins" b/c of its tacky bottom, which behaves like an adhesive to hold the pad in place - but it doesn't leave any sticky residue, so you can remove the pad and re-place as much as you need and still have this tackiness to keep it adhered to what you lay it on. The textured top is soft and grippy, too, so the object you place on it sinks just a smidge and is thus held in place.I was searching all over to get a single non-slip pad like this. But after considering the pricing, I opted for the 2-pack. I don't have need for the 2nd one ATM, but glad to know I have it available if a need arises. I just hope this pad with stands the test of time and will last for a few yrs (at least).

I'm using this to secure my bookshelf speakers to their stands so they don't accidentally get knocked off the stand. Works fantastic!

I bought it for the car, but it melts and stretches in the heat. It also absorbs dust and debris. I don't recommend anyone to buy this item

I have a large standalone GPS with a beanbag mount on the dash of my Cyberbeast (3 motor Cybertruck, massive acceleration). It tended to go flying when I stepped down maybe halfway. No more, problem solved! Since the beanbag mount was fairly large, this was a good size, too.
