Using with a Vevo mag drill and it has performed well on 1/2" steel, machines several holes so far, this is a beefy drill bit for large 0.75" holes

I have now bored holes with this in 1/4" and 3/16" plate (with lube/coolant!) and it just keeps on going. No complaints at all.

This CORTOOL 1" Diameter Annular Cutter with 3/4" Weldon Shank fit perfectly in my magnetic drill as well as a 3/4" collet in my milling machine. The cutters are very sharp and well made. The section of the pilot pin that sits inside of the cutter body is 1/4" but the section of the pilot pin that actually does the alignment is 0.172" in diameter. This is the same pilot pin configuration as other annular cutters that I have. It cuts good but should be run at a fairly slow speed to prevent chatter (200 to 400 rpm in steel). I will get other sizes as I need them.

I needed to punch a thru hole thru 3/4 inch plate aluminum for clearance for a couple bolts. Used a little WD40 and the annular cutter went thru it like butter on my milling machine. So easy, I probably could have just used a cordless drill if I could have chucked it up. Workes a LOT better than traditional hole saws for this particular job. I will be getting more of these type of drills as they make cutting larger holes a lot easier.

Cuts clean in aluminum and low carbon steel as long as your setup is stable. This type of tool really requires either a milling machine or a mag drill designed to use annular cutters. It came with the ejector/ pilot pin which is a plus since I normally have to buy them separately. It saved me a bunch of time and strain since it was much easier to push through a plate than a 3/4" drill and the holes came out much cleaner. The pilot pin also makes precisely locating the holes easy if you center punch the locations first.

This cut nice clean holes in 3/8" aluminum and 1/4" steel. You need something firm to hold it; a mill, mag drill, etc; this isn't going to work without the correct setup. If you understand and need these bits, this was just fine in initial quality. Not sure yet how a resharpening will go.

Good sharp annular cutter. with a 3/4 Inch Weldon Shank. I use it in my drill press with a 3/4 Weldon adaptor and A good amount of lubricant. It cuts a nice clean hole in steel.
