The covers duvet sometimes can get a bit warm depending where you live. The color is beautiful it has particular smells once to put ok your bed. But it goes away, is soft and comfy my 7 years old likes it. So I’m happy

When you first remove it from the package, the material has a delightful texture and appearance that makes it seem promising. However, after just one wash, it undergoes a disappointing transformation—the fabric shrinks considerably and loses its initial aesthetic appeal. The once smooth and vibrant surface becomes wrinkled and lacks the same quality, leaving you feeling unsatisfied with the overall look and feel of the item.

Nice and fluffy, I wouldn't call it velvet by any means, it's more of a short Plush material and the color is more like Periwinkle, purplish blue but very pale and subtle, it's too heavy for year round use, but I guess you could take your stuffer out and use it as a coverlet for your bed, price was excellent and the material is nice so for those reasons I recommend it, for 19.00 you can't go wrong!
