I'm so annoyed with this scoreboard that I want to give it only 1 star, but I use it so much I have to concede to 4 stars.First the good: The remote is helpful for changing score from across the room and the option to jump 2 or 3 points at a time (the numbers 1, 4, and 7 control the home team while 3, 6, and 9 control the away team) is wonderful, although I will say the scoreboard is finicky about the angle in which you aim the remote at it; too high of an angle and it won't respond. The little stand to raise the board off the table several inches and then angle it in almost any direction is also very helpful and optional. The LCD screen is bright and the numbers are big and easy to read (the blue numbers are a little harder to read from a distance because the contrast is not as high as the red numbers, which are super easy to read). The volume is adjustable, and it can also be a timer, but you can't see both at the same time. You can switch between the screens and it will keep running/score while you switch. The charging cord comes with a block. Now the drawbacks: This is NOT a touchscreen, which is insinuated in the listing: "Additionally, all of the scoreboard's functions can be easily controlled with the upgraded remote." What they should have siad is, "Every function of this scoreboard MUST be controlled with the upgraded remote because you won't be able to do it on the actual scoreboard, so buy some batteries." The directions in the box also indicate where you can touch on the FRONT of the screen to increase or decrease the score. NOT TRUE! I can even see the words that they are talking about when I hold the screen at a certain angle, but they do not light up and nothing happens when you touch them. This means you can ONLY control this scoreboard with the huge remote. If you lose the remote, you're screwed. If the batteries die in the remote, you're out of luck. And by the way, even though the scoreboard is rechargeable (you CAN still use it while charging if you need to), the remote needs 2 AA batteries, which the listing does not mention at all. All the accessories fit in a nice drawstring velvet pouch, but NOT the scoreboard. What?! The fragile, "glass" screen scoreboard is on it's own, but let's make a protective bag for the charging cord, stand, and remote? 🙄 I just keep my scoreboard in the bubble wrap that it came in and then keep both in my backpack with my cornhole bags.Overall, I use this every week for my Bags League, and I don't mind having to use the remote because I like to be in charge of the score, but I don't like the misrepresentation in the directions, the storage bag situation is just stupid, and this is waaaaaay overpriced for what it can do. I would not pay $57 for it.

Much bigger numbers than most of the other products I looked at. I got this to keep score at middle school wrestling matches. Sometimes you have to press the buttons on the remote more than once to get a response, otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.

My daughter got this for her brother for Christmas and he loved it. Uses it for Pickleball and rec league games. It's large enough, bright and sounds great.

Must be within 5 ft of the unit for the remote to work. Sort of pointless to have a remote but there are no controls on the unit itself so we’re stuck. Looking for a better option as I would not buy this again.
