It's okay. Using 3# for ice fishing, isn't as smooth dropping a tiny jig as other 3# flouro I've used in the past. Everything else seems pretty on par though. Not my favorite personally, but it'll work.

An online fisherman from Tennessee has tested this line out and recommended it. My husband is anxious to reline his poles and get back out to fish.He will test this line catching Salmon during a Missouri fishing trip in March.

I brought 4lb fluorocarbon leader to hook a fish in Hawaii we call an Akule. Its a fish thats about 14 '' max and weighs about 1/3 pound to a pound. This leader handles a lot of shock in the surge near the shoreline. I also rubbed it a couple of times on the rocks. It handled. I love the leader and plan to stock up. Angryfish has made great improvements to this leader material. The majority of my fishing is in rivers with strong currents and a lot of structure. The fish I target hide inside this structure....getting my bait inside or as close to said structure is key to catching fish in the summer. The first batch I ordered was not good. Angryfish asked me to try this leader material again. I changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. This product is significantly better now than it was when it first came out. The spool arrived cracked is the reason my new rating is not 5 stars. I now recommend this product for river fishermen targeting aggressive Smallmouth Bass. I catch hundreds of fish every summer. I used this new leader material for several days and caught a dozen or so fish before changing my rating. Often the fish tries aggressively to get back under the log, rock, or structure when caught. Good leader material is 100% necessary for success in fishing the way I do. I am glad I tried it again.
