I ordered this wand to use with my sailor moon Halloween costume. It worked perfectly for that. I was expecting a cheap plastic wand that the paint would be chipping off of after using it one time, but this wand exceeded my expectations by far. It’s not flimsy cheap plastic, the plastic is heavy and feels durable-I can’t easy bend the wand. The paint also hasn’t started to chip or wear away anywhere yet. This wand is much nicer than the ones I remember from my dress up box I had as a little girl.

This scepter is incredibly shiny and actually has some heft to it. I docked one star because it came kind of scuffed up around the top part and the jewel was also a little scuffed up which is weird because it came packaged in lots of foam layers and in a sturdy cardboard box. It will still look great for a Halloween costume. I just wish it wasn't so scuffed up. It is so incredibly shiny though so I think that makes up for the scuff marks!
