Then I ordered this, I thought it would keep things more secure than it actually does. There's no suction cup bottom so while the cup/phone holder will stay upright, it's free to twist or move side to side.I also assumed that this would be a pressure fit but the silicone doesn't stretch much and instead mainly works with drinks that are smaller and again, makes it a loose hold. (Pictured is a drink that is as wide as a 12oz soda but taller). I tried multiple metal cups and they were either too big or had a loose fit like the can. For the phone, I have a pixel XL with a bulky case and it for loosely as well.If you're looking for something to just hold items and aren't concerned with it falling out, this will work. Personally, the functionality wasn't there. I could keep items secured better with lanyards or the bungees and feel confident that they will still be there if I tip.

This product design is very well thought out. The bungee of my paddleboard and my kayak slide into the slot and rests at the enlarged full-width slot at the bottom, right under where your beverage goes. Wate can run out on either side there the bungee runs through. The phone holster has two holes where the water can run out also. My iPhone 14 Pro with case fits well with room to spare. The beverage opening measures 3” wide, and is 3.5” tall at the side cutouts or 4.25” at the highest points. The phone slot measures 3.4” wide by 4.25” tall. The material is soft and flexible but it holds its shape very well, so it won’t collapse. There are no flaps or cords to hold items in, so plan accordingly if there’s any chance of flipping your boat.
