Small, inexpensive. Using to cool back of RV refrigerator. Not a huge difference but helps. Note: No instructions so used red for power, black to ground was high speed. Yellow to ground seemed to provide a lower speed?

These outwardly look like any typical 80mm computer fan. They probably are.I dropped two stars off of this due to the fact that the actual package these come in have *zero* specs listed anywhere in the box. There's a large folded sheet inside outlining the IP44 ingress rating, but nothing else. The Listing description also names these as 120mm fans. Contradicts the listing title.Now. Onto the actual fans. Being that these are 12v, you will have to either have an adapter to directly plug these in or cut the connector off to hard wire. These are louder than a typical computer fan and are audible outside the RV (at least mine it is). I'm just waiting to see how long this fan lasts. I'm in a dry climate, so I'd imaging it'll last longer than it would in a humid or salt-air (East coast, Great Lakes) region.

These seem to be good quality fan. I have them in for my RV fridge pulling the heat from the back, and out the bottom of the unit. right now they are set up on a manual switch. I got lazy and did it this way since this a patch until i can get my 12 volt fridge. Great product works as intended.

For the price, they work well. They are also very quiet which I found surprising. They are strong enough for my application in making a soundproof enclosure.

Review of 80mm 12V DC Moisture-Proof Fans (2 Packs)If you're in the market for reliable cooling solutions for your appliances, such as RV refrigerators, the 80mm 12V DC Fans are certainly worth considering. Coming in a pack of two, these fans deliver a solid performance with impressive specifications for their price point.PerformanceOperating at a high speed of 3500 RPM, these fans really do their job effectively. They provide ample airflow without generating excessive noise, which is a crucial factor for anyone looking to maintain a peaceful environment, especially in a confined space like an RV. The sound levels are modest, allowing you to enjoy your surroundings without the annoying hum of traditional fans.Build QualityIt’s important to note that these fans utilize hydro bearings rather than ball bearings. Hydro-bearing fans are typically quieter and can be less expensive to produce, making them attractive for budget-conscious buyers. However, they may not last as long as their ball-bearing counterparts. For most typical uses, especially in an RV or similar application, they should provide commendable longevity, assuming proper ventilation and regular maintenance.Moisture-Proof FeatureOne of the standout features is the moisture-proof design. This is particularly important for RV owners who may encounter varied environmental conditions, including humidity and dampness. The waterproof capability assures that these fans will perform reliably, making them ideal for use in refrigerators and other moist environments where conventional fans might falter.InstallationThe 3-wire, 3-pin design makes installation straightforward, compatible with most systems requiring such configurations. The setup process is simple enough for users of any skill level, which is always a plus for DIY enthusiasts.ConclusionOverall, for the price, these 80mm 12V DC moisture-proof fans are a solid investment. While they may not last as long as higher-end ball-bearing fans, their performance, quiet operation, and moisture-proof casing make them a reliable choice for cooling applications in RVs and other spaces. If you're looking for a budget-friendly solution that doesn't compromise on performance, these fans are certainly worthy of consideration.

These fans move a lot of air for a little footprint. They are nice and quiet and ideal for cooling electical equipment.

I am installing a power supply in a box on my RV so I ordered these fans to ventilate it. I clipped the plug from the wire and will only use the red and black wires, as the yellow wire is a frequency generator which I will not need. The fans measure just a bit over 3" diameter and have protective grills. In my initial tests I am pleased, as it moves a fair amount of air without being too loud. These will work well for this job!

I use these (well, one of them) to cool a piece of radio equipment. They are pretty standard fans but the blades are very thin (a good thing) and have a nice pitch. In fact, they are sharp, so it is a good think it includes the guards. Fairly quiet, although not silent, of course. They were clearly marked for the direction of flow and rotation, which is a good thing, too.
