I use this once or twice a year and it is perfect for my needs. It a good quality item but if I used it everyday I would have spent more for a name brand. Great value.

This review comes from a person who doesn't know much about routers. I bought it to make some cabinet doors. I needed to put a Roman edge on some and a billnose on some other stuff. It got the job done but it was really hot in my hand almost unbearable. The edges were ok. Had to hand sand a lot to get the fuzz off. It's a good cheap router with bits.

This item is serious dangerous... it began to get really hot to touch in under 5 minutes of run time and then made weird mechanical sounds signifying that it may blow up in my hands, which scared the be-geezus outta meI even followed the instruction manual to the letterI strongly suggest noone purchase this item

As a trim router, this thing works great and will probably last quite a while as a trim router.As a router for a cnc machine... well, your mileage may vary. Mine was maybe 5hrs total. Running this router non-stop off and on in a cnc is kinda hard on this router but, hey... I kinda knew going in that this might be the case! If you don't want to shell out a bunch of bucks in the beginning of your cnc adventure then, I would go with this router. It is noisier than the name brands but it does the job.This does fit the FoxAlien's Masuter Pro.
