Everything works fine ie continuity, voltage and capacity. Amp draw is unreliable and awful. Not bad for size and price, but since I do need a reliable amp meter I would say this will not take the place of any other meter I own. It’s only good for very very basic and quick diagnostic testing. Voltage, continuity and capacity. And only If it’s very close to source you are testing.

Unless you can isolate the wire far far FAR away from any other current sources you are going to pull readings from ALL sources of current in the vacinity.Get one with jaws that close that has a higher rating.

Product discription says this meter reads among other things frequency and capacitance which it does not. Comparing the amp meter to my Fluke and my other amp meter the amp reading is off by 25 per cent.
