Since owning my 2021 Toyota Corolla, I have always had issues with the USB cords I would use to plug my phone in to use Android Auto (own Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra). I got tired of using those cords and looked for an alternative to use and stumbled across this product here on Amazon. Given how good the reviews were, I decided to take the plunge and purchase this adapter for myself. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made. The device was simple to set up and Android Auto has worked flawlessly with zero lag since using this adapter. The compatibility with my phone was a sight to behold. I love it!This device is worth every penny and I love that I no longer have to worry about using USB cords anymore going forward. Highly recommend this device if you are an Android user and want to get rid of those useless USB cords.

Have been using this dongle for the last 3 months. and must say it works well. Definitely worth the purchase if you have a vehicle that only connects to android auto via a cable. Also this seems to be the only dongle on amazon that's supports Bluetooth v5.3 which is a plus for these newer phones. Currently have Oneplus 12 and driving 2025 Passport.Pros:1. Connects every time I start the car2. Very small footprint, takes up very little space. Very light.3. Initial connection to phone is straight forward and quick.Cons:1. Sometimes takes while to connect 15-30 sec if your phone was connected to a wifi signal prior to getting into the car.2. I do wish the cable was maybe an inch longer but that's just preference

Excellent product that works flawlessly with my android auto head unit in my Cadillac XT5. Installation was extremely easy, and it just works, I get in my car, start it and my phone connects automatically. So much better than using a cord.

If you follow the directions on how to set it up, once you have it connected it works flawlessly every time. I hop in my vehicle, start it up and once the entertainment system goes through its start up, my Android Auto is connected automatically without fail. Very responsive, works just like when I had to plug into a wire every single time. I was really looking for something that would "just work" and this unit does that for me. I can finally keep my phone in my pocket and not worry about plugging it in or forgetting to grab it out of the vehicle each time I got out. Highly recommend this product!

This was a great upgrade for my car. . Instead of connecting through the car, I connected the new device directly to the head unit. Before installation, I read comments from others who had done similar upgrades, and their advice was invaluable. Following their guidance, I first uninstalled my phone’s connection from the radio system and then removed the radio connection from my phone. After starting fresh, I plugged the device into the car’s USB port, asked the radio to find it, and it connected on the first try. My Pixel 9 then found the Bluetooth Android Auto transmitter, but since my car is older, it didn’t work directly through the vehicle’s system.Realizing the issue, I plugged the unit directly into the head unit—the same one I use for Android Auto. It connected flawlessly, with no lag in calls or app usage. Setup took less than a minute, giving me enough time to start the car, buckle up, and shift into drive before my phone connected to the screen. I placed the unit behind the glove box, out of sight, and it works perfectly. At one point, my phone unexpectedly shut off and rebooted, but I believe this was due to a recent Android Auto update rather than the Bluetooth transmitter. I highly recommend following the reset steps I mentioned to ensure a smooth connection. Now, I can drive with my phone in my pocket, avoiding fines in Quebec, where phones must be mounted. My wife’s phone remains connected to the radio for calls but doesn’t interact with the Android Auto device—she doesn’t use it much anyway and prefers not to drive my sports car, so it works out well for both of us!

Only had it a few days, but got it to work after less than five mins. You could tell the guy who wrote the miniature user manual was Chinese, but the instructions were clear enough. Android Auto working fine now, with minimal lag. Will it still work fine months from now? Can't answer that? The one function button, for finding other programs, like Tidal or Spotify, wasn't intuitive. From what I can tell so far, it's not less functional than the more expensive units I reviewed.

This dongle works perfectly and connects my Samsung S22 to my 2019 Honda CR-V with no glitches. I love the wireless connection which so far has been very reliable. No complaints.UPDATE 1/19/2025: I lowered my rating to four stars. The dongle works flawlessly; it connects every time and never hangs up. The drawback is that this wireless connection using bluetooth and wifi REALLY eats up my phone battery power. It's not an issue driving around town, but if I'm on a road trip that exceeds two hours I need to plug my phone into my car's USB port to charge up the battery before it goes dead. So, be aware that while you might have a wireless Android Auto connection, you still might need to plug in your phone...which sort of defeats the purpose of using a wireless Android Auto dongle.

I had previously used a Motorola MA1 which had a lot of annoying connection issues. After only 9 months it entirely stopped working, which I quickly learned is a very common issue with them. So rather than paying $90 for another one I took a chance on this one instead based on reviews. I've been using it now for nearly 3 months and have to say I've never had a connection issue, plus it connects faster and sounds better than the Motorola. It may seem minor to some, but the adhesive that comes with this actually works (the Motorola does not) so I am able to make it much more discreet which is nice.

So in 2023 I bought a car with Android auto and wanted to take advantage of the features so I naturally purchased the Motorola M1 at close to $100. It was good but consistently and annoyingly dropped the connection between my phone and my car. This was not a pleasant experience at all. So I just stopped using it and android auto. Jump to early 2024 and I saw the LXJTHT Android Auto wireless adapter for half what I spent on the other brand and decided to give it a try. Well I haven't yet to be disappointed with it after 3 months use. Setup was straight forward and pretty easy. The LXJTHT connects quickly to my phone when I start my car and stays connected. I am now enjoying all the features of Android Auto frustration free with zero drop outs. I would definitely recommend this device over the competition as it is a quality and dependable accessory, you will not be disappointed.
