My mother had me order this for her drum circle her and her friends have at their fire pit in the evenings. I should have read the description and reviews first, but I assumed she had done so. It’s full of little metal beads so the sound is very obnoxious and rather unpleasant. That was probably in the description, so that’s on us. Regardless, it’s extremely cheaply made and won’t last long. It also didn’t come with a mallet. Luckily I had an extra one from my sons drum collection.If you’re looking for an obnoxious toy for a kid, this might be your thing. If you want something for practical use, I’d recommend you keep looking.

Der Wellenklang ist wunderschön. Sanft und lädt zum träumen ein. Sie ist gut verarbeitet. Wenn man die Trommel senkrecht hält kann man sie auch als Trommel verwenden ohne das die Kugeln stören oder vibrieren.

The construction of this ocean drum is superior to others sold on Amazon. I compared the sound of this drum to others and this is the best. It’s constructed of goat skin which is very thin, compared to elk or Buffalo skins. I’m impressed with the craftsmanship and high quality sound of this drum. Great price too! Highly recommended. This drum sounds terrible. Spend your money wisely and get a real ocean drum. This one sounds like beads rolling around in paper, which exactly what its made of.

This is a neat drum that handle gently really does bring the sound of rumbling pebbles on the shore being swept back and forth by the sea.

It wasn't what I was looking for although I hoped I could use it. It is as described and came in two days with prime. Its interesting and does sound like ocean waves if you allow the pebbles inside to slide across the surface, otherwise, its sounds like there's rocks in that drum. I needed an inexpensive drum and the rocks got in the way of my needs, but I did enjoy playing with it for a few minutes before I put it back in the package. Great for kids/young people for something to enjoy that isn't iPhone/computer. Mostly, a nice sound, fun and interesting.
